Eveyrone that I've ever trusted as a Bible scholar says that the Palestinians are the descendants of Esau. There of course, is a complicated trail that they get it from in the Bible. It seems to lead directly to the Palistinians.I don't know enough about it to show the evidence but I believe it to be true. And as someone else said Ishmael is the Father of the Arabs. According to many scholars the Edomites are the modern day Palistinians. As far as a curse I certainly couldn't say for sure that they are , however when the Palistinians were in control of the land it was a barren wasteland where nothing would grow. When the Jews came home to Israel it began to flourish and is a huge agricultural producing land.God bless!!

Esau was a brother to Jacob and therefore a brother to Israelites. Both Saul and David conducted warfare with the Edomites which would be Esau's people. Esau is called the father of the Edomite nation. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup so the lineage to Christ came through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob instead of Abraham, Isaac and Esau. Even Today the descendants of Esau and Jacob fight against each other.
Cursed is any nation that comes against Israel. God said He would bless those who bless them and curse those who curse them. Israel is the apple of God's eye.

Esau's descendants today are the Edomite peoples.
According to Malachi 1:3, "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. I have made his mountains a desolation & appointed his inheritance for the jackals of the wilderness."

IF Jesus was a real person, and the odds are reasonable that he was, we know he had siblings already. In the bible they are mentioned, although not all of them by name. It is also pretty much certain that he was married if he was a rabbi. No one would respect a rabbi that wasn't at his age. Jesus had "brothers and sisters", as reported in Mark 6:3 and Matthew 13:55-56. The canonical Gospels name four brothers, James, Joseph (Joses), Judas and Simon, but only James is known to history, though some associate Simeon of Jerusalem with Simon the brother of Jesus. After Jesus' death, James, "the Lord's brother", was the head of the congregation in Jerusalem and Jesus' relatives may have held positions of authority in the surrounding area. The literal conclusion from what is written in the New Testament is that Jesus' siblings were children of Mary and Joseph, as accepted by some members of the early Christian church, later called the Antidicomarianites; however, when Helvidius proposed this idea in the 4th century, Jerome the Just maintained that Mary remained always a virgin, and held that those who were called the brothers and sisters of Jesus were actually children of Clopas, a brother-in-law of Mary. The terms "brothers" and "sisters" as used in this context are open to different interpretations, and since have been argued to refer to children of Joseph by a previous marriage, Mary's sister's children, or Joseph's sister's children. Critical scholars say that the doctrine of perpetual virginity has long obscured the recognition that Jesus had siblings.

I'm not sure, but I believe the Arab nations may consider themselves the children of Esau. They consider they were the rightful airs of Abraham, and Jacob STOLE their birthright.
Are they cursed?
I doubt it, but if they are, like so many of mankind everywhere, of many backgrounds, it is not because of what happened 3000 years ago, it is because of their behavior TODAY.

Traditional Judaism believes that Esav was the ancestor of the Roman peoples, and thus of western culture. Basically Yaakov was the ancestor of the Jews, and Esav of Christianity. This is basic traditional Jewish understanding of our scriptures.
Ishmael was father to Arabs.

well, If you call being chased into caves and running away from Apache helicopters on horseback bad luck, then I think the Muslims would qualify.
