Sounds like you are looking for reassurance. If you read your Bible every night you would know that doing "bad stuff" is not what God would want for us. He sets rules to protect us from harmful consequences. It's your choice to follow those rules or not.

Goodness, what do you think? You go to church
( sometimes forcefully ) and read your bible, yet you still have to ask? There's an old saying that I wrote in every Bible I own....."The road to hell is paved with good intentions." How many times we read our bibles or go to Church means absolutely nothing to the Lord "if" our hearts are not in it. A true Christian is a Christian "all the time." Though we may stumble and fall a hundred times, we rise up again a hundred and one better and wiser than before. You seem to be wise enough to ackowledge "bad stuff." I just pray you are wise enough to say "NO More!"

I'm not the one you should be asking. If you are reading the Bible you know what God says about your choices. You are going down a wrong road and there will be serious consequences for your choices.

Ask God to help you turn your life around. Smoking kills, drinking kills, and hehheh um other stuff you can get STD's HIV Herpesand who knows what else. So

You just said yourself that you were doing "bad stuff." You know your behavior is immoral! I know that there is a lot of pressure in highschool but don't give in! Reading your bible is a good thing, but it's not enough. You have to live the Christian lifestyle. Jesus didn't say "just read this book and I'll take you to heaven with me!" He wants us to be holy. He is calling you to be a saint! Every human being is called to be a saint. I know it's hard. I'm a teenager too! But we Christians need to persevere so that we can join Jesus in heaven someday and help other people get there too! And don't think that only murderers go to hell. "Thou shalt not kill" is only one of the commandments.

Okay, first off...if you origanally a Christian then you are not on the "road to hell." #1 You obviously feel bad about this #2 Just ask Him to forgive you if you are sincere then He will #3 Remember all the things you do is a testamony to your God and if you are a Christian then He is living in you and everything you do to yourself you are doing to Him. #4 Repent, read your Bible, pray all the time and think about what you do BEFORE you do it. I'll be praying for you

Well reading your bible and going to Church are not a guaranteed entry to heaven. The only way in is through Jesus Christ as the Bible clearly states.Your relationship with Him is your gauge of where you are in your spiritual life. It is clear that your relationship is not where it needs to be if you are habitually sinning. Read your Bible with a purpose and search your heart for the truth.

First of all, I need to know what you mean by being a Christian.....if you mean you grew up in church and learned about God and the Bible because your parents took you there, that's one thing. But if at some point, you know in your heart that you gave your life to Christ and experienced His salvation, that's something different.

Some churches don't really teach this personal relationship to Christ experience, but it is the only way to really be a Christian. No one else can do it for you, and church membership, baptism, or your good works (going to church, reading the Bible) won't do it for you. You have to realize that Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection is what you need and repent of your sins and give your life to Him.

Once you have done that, it will be hard (but not impossible) for you to do the "hehheh bad things" without the Holy Spirit in your heart convicting you that it is wrong and making you feel sorry and guilty about it. It sounds like you are under conviction just from your question.

So the answer to your question is if you don't have Jesus in your heart, you are going to hell, but if you do have Jesus in your heart, there is nothing you can do to make yourself un-saved. He is the one who saved you, and He is the one who will keep you saved--you don't have the power to undo what He did for you on the cross. BUT, if you really are a Christian you will not be happy living out of fellowship with Him and continuing in sin. It will lead to bad consequences in your life and put a barrier between you and Him (and your parents) so that He cannot hear your prayers, and so that all the Bible reading and churchgoing won't do any good. The Bible calls this being "double-minded" (when you live one way at church and another way during the rest of the week.) One reason this is so bad is what I already explained--you are out of fellowship with Jesus, and you will miss blessings you could have had, you will be outside His will and protection, and you could face negative consequences for your actions. Another reason this is bad is that you could be a stumbling block to others who think you are a Christian and think that is how all Christians act. It could turn them against God and lead them into sin, and then you would be held accountable for that by God on Judgment Day. How would you feel if you got into heaven, but had nothing good to show for it and also saw one or more of your friends going to hell because they followed your example and lived the way you did and they weren't saved?

I strongly urge you when you read your Bible to look up passages using some of the key words I put in my response, (such as sin, salvation, lost, saved, double-minded, stumbling block) or talk to a youth minister or pastor for more guidance.
It sounds like you either need to make a decision for true salvation or to renew your commitment to the Lord and ask for prayer to not fall into temptation.

When you are at school, try and find some fellow students who are Christians who will stand with you and resist the peer pressure to do thing you know are wrong. Hopefully you can turn this around before you end up with some big regrets here on earth that will sure hurt like hell, and hopefully you can search your heart and determine once and for all about your salvation.

God bless you--I wish you the best!

Sweetie, please turn back to the Lord. If your pray and truly in your heart want to repent he will help you tunr your life around. By posting this question I can see that you do want to repent and I am so happy about that. Going to a public school is no excuse for doing the things that you are doing. I am 15 and go to a public school but because I have God I can stay strong in my religion, as a lot of teenagers do. Please, honey, whatever your problems are they are never to big to be fixed by God. Smoking, even if you aren't religious, is never a good idea. You are only setting yourself up for lung cancer or another disease that we know is directly related with smoking. It is never a good idea. Good luck sweetie and God bless you. You will be in my prayers.

Most would say that your conversion or initial faith wasn't real then, but, as much as I hate to admit it, you have fire insurance. The real sad part is that you are losing a life of real joy (I'm not talking about the freaky twitching feeling in a service) when the fellowship with the kids your age at church is destroyed. There you have no peer pressure, there you have no need to be someone else but just yourself. It's sad! But, at least you will be going to heaven. However, I was there at your age too. I grew out of it maybe you will too.

Just because you read the bible and go to church ocassionally means nothing. You are doing the wrong things and it is going to lead you to hell if you don't stop. Premarital sex is immoral and it is a sin. You are hurting yourself, your family and most of all, you are hurting God. Stop smoking. Stop drinking. And stop sleeping around. All of those things surely are not going to help you in life or when it comes your time for judgement.
