I mean read the book it has stories like Sodom and Gamorrah, The Flood etc. does Israel really need US support. They have God isnt that all thats necessary???

Its obviously not about any moral question. Since the occupation of Palestine has been a blood bath. Its not for geopolitical gain since when we invaded Iraq x2 we never staged the attack from Israel.

In lots of my dreams, i've seen high water, like a flood.
Always in the dream, i'm trying to either stop it or have people listen to me about it. In another dream, it was judgement day and there was light all around and mountains breaking, but before in the dream its was saturday and for some reason in my dream I knew it would be judgement day on sunday and was trying to ake people repent because I knew it was the next day for some reason.

Also I has a dream with a cat in it.
In Islam, what do these mean because I am muslim and ihaven't been give any answers yet. thank you.

This is where religion alway lost me. My Dad is a very religious man and he tells me that God always was but that doesn't make sense to me. In an argument about how the universe was created he will always fall back on God because according to him evolution, big bang, etc aren't plausible. I don't know exactly what I believe. In a deep down sort of way I believe in God but I can't accept that God just always was. I don't understand how that is more plausible. So my question is where did God come from? Please don't quote scripture just talk with your own words.

"If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives." Deuteronomy 22:28-29
Why does everyone take this out of context? Back when the Bible was written, men were pigs who wouldn't marry a girl if she wasn't a virgin, no matter how that happened. If she was raped, she would never get married, which was pretty much all they cared about back then. Making the rapist marry the girl ensured she would have a husband. The divorce thing was to make sure he would never try to leave the marriage. This wasn't about making a victim marry her attacker, it was about forcing a guy to pay for stealing the one thing a girl needed to get married, her virginity. Today, people will understand if you were raped, and won't treat you differently for it, so that is not neccessary anymore.

I was molested as a child and I am the only one who knows about it. I was molested for nearly 5 years. I feel like God is trying to get me to tell my pastor and family but I don't think I can do that. They have a lot of respect for me and people rely a lot on me.

I feel that God wants me to tell people because I could be a help or example to others who have suffered like I have. I feel that I could be an example because I was broken before Christ saved me. I needed a friend and he was there all along.

I remember how I felt for those five years broken and shattered and how I didn't deserve to be treated that way and one day while I was watching the passion of the Christ I started thinking about how Christ suffered in almost the same way. While he didn't deserve by any means what happened to him he bore his cross as we all have to. I feel Icould really help people but I don't think I have the courage.

Any advise?

After the answers I recieved off my last question, it seems that Muslims claim that anyone who devotes there life to God is Muslim, including Abraham (and his kin), Moses and Jesus.

I'm not comfortable with that answer because it means that anyone who is not alive today can be labeled anything because they're not around to defend themselves. It's implying that Jesus and Moses would support curent day Islam, including their traditions and customs as well as beliefs. I'm Christian and I know Jesus wasn't a Christian, he was a Jew, and I'm not going around calling Moses and Abraham Christians.
At the same time, If i created a religion where Muhammad seemed to fit right in, do you think Muslims would approve of me using the name of their profit?
My questions are these:
Do you think people like Abraham, Moses and Jesus would call themselves Muslim if you were able to ask them today? Do you think they Muslims would be upset if another religion used Muhammad as a figure in theirs?

She thinks because she lives alone and is 20 years old she doesn't have to obey her dad but I know the Bible puts the father in charge of his daughter until she gets married. However, trying to tell her that is like talking to a brick wall!! GRRR!!! I am so frustrated and need the Bible verses to show her but I can't remember where they are.

Over the years I have known several individuals and families who were very much involved with the Catholic church. Along with indirectly worshiping the pope, I remember they always had pictures of Christ in their homes and churches that always showed Jesus as a white guy with brown hair and blue eyes. According to the bible and other history resources they say Jesus was of Middle Eastern descent. I was just wondering why the Catholic church makes him look like Al from that show "Home Improvement".
