I don't need to know your sources, chapter & verse and all that, I'd just like to know.
And no, I am not a Christian nor do I want to be, but I would like some information and you guys seem to be the authority.
And yes, I do know that I could Google it.

Peter, Andrew, James, and John, Simon, James, and Jude, Philip, Bartholomew, Mathew, Thomas, and Judas.

I'm agnostic, but you'd be amazed the things drilled into your head in catholic school. I can't believe I remembered that!

You don't want to be a Christian; you want to know who the 12 apostles were, just for information; you know that you could get the information from doing a Google search; yet you ask the question on Answers because people here seem to be the authority.

Why do I suspect that authority is a key word and that anger and sarcasm is the issue here?

It isn't actually documented.
Also, what's the difference between the 12 Apostles and the 12 disciples (yes, i know the usual Xian explanation) and why are there 13 people named in the various gospels as being "of the 12)
Why is the bible so hung up on 12....Jacob had 12 sons, there were 12 tribes of Israel. There are several other references to the number 12 in both the old and new testament

I'm sure the fact that there are 12 signs of the Zodiac, and early representations of Jesus show him as a Sun god is just co-incidence.

the 12 mentioned so far just attented the passover with Jesus, but Judas left before the last supper was started by Jesus and his faithful 11 Apostles.
