Jesus didn't cause it; the Romans did. You need to go back and read some history; the Jews weren't forced out of Israel until around 70C.E. - forty or so years after Jesus died. The Ha-Mered Ha-Gadol ("the great revolt") of the Jews occurred between 66 - 70 C.E., and culminated with the destruction of the second Temple (of which the "Wailing Wall" in Isreal is the only part still standing), the Bar Kochba Rebellion (about 132 C.E.) and the fall of Masada, and the dispersion of the Jews, AFTER the Romans massacred or enslaved many, of course.

The Christians don't owe us a thing, and for our part, we generally don't really have a lot to do with them.

No. The Christians do not owe the Jews anything. The focus is on God, and what He will do with Israel in Zechariah 14, which is coming soon.

Abraham and Sarah had only one child and that was Isaac.
Abraham and a servant had a child too and that was Ishmael.

Isaac was the ancestor of the Christians.
Ishmael was the ancestor of the Muslims.

Now, Abraham was promised a land to be occupied by his ancestors. But, he had two sons. The other legitimate and the other illegitimate. But no matter, both were his sons. Now, the confusion is.

Who shall have the promised land.......

The descendants of Isaac or Ishmael?

NO.

The Jews failed to recognize Jesus as the Messiah and God removed His protection from them. Disastrous results followed naturally.

United Nations re-established the nation after WWII.

This had to do with Bar Kokhba, not Jesus. In 132 AD the second Jewish revolt against Rome, lead by Bar Kokhba, had disastrous results for the Jewish population.

The Lord is the caretaker of the Jews. As much as they have suffered, they will be equally compensated. God's timeframe is different from your 2 dimensional understanding.
