If peace is truly in your heart, then you should have the wisdom to manifest it around you son. If you send love and peace out into the world... then that is where it will go. Just because you cannot see the impact of your peaceful intentions with your own senses does not mean that they did not take seed. You effect great change in this world while never following it to its end.
I would consider it a tad self centered to think that I deserve to see what my loving and peaceful actions have done to this world I am in.
It is not my intention to ever "SEEK" peace, but rather to grow it within myself through benevolent surrender to that around me which gives me suffering and grief.
Peace is not a beach in Mexico, it is not church in Paris, it is not four words chanted over and over to the point of exhaustion. I do not seek for peace, I have grown peace inside me my entire life, and it took absolutely no physical effort. Just the will power to not confront aggression with aggression. Peace is the end result of my love for my convictions, morals, and decency. I do not seek peace at my age... Because it is my place to give peace to those around me from the one place that will never empty...from within myself.

"True Peace" can only be found within "God".

I read your question and the first thing that came to my mind was that Peace is a Person. We have One who is the Prince of Peace. To have any kind of real peace is to go directly to the Source. This One is able to settle the problem of chaos that prevails on the earth. One day the Lord will return and rule on this earth during the age of the Kingdom for 1000 years. Until then, there is a lawless chaotic enemy prowling upon this earth to contend with. There are a few ways that we can make some sort of impact upon the earth, but not necessarily on a large scale... but moreso in our own small spaces. In our Homes... Our Neighbourhoods..our job environments....our churches...and if we can be peacemakers in these smaller spaces then we can have more impact upon the world at large.
Some ways according to the Word to seek peace can be found in...
1 Peter 3:11
And let him Turn away from Evil and do Good, let him seek peace and Pursue it.
1...I am really impressed that there is a turning away from one thing and the seeking and pursuing of Peace. If we remain in evil there is no way for peace to come out of anything that we do. Real Good comes from living righteously in Christ.
Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God.
2...Being Born of God is crucial to keeping real peace. The Spiritual birth brings with it all the spiritual genes .. peace being one of them.
Mark 9: 50
Salt is good, but if the salt becomes unsalted with what will you restore its saltiness? Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another.
3...Instead of being arguementative.. we should have our words seasoned with salt. ( Col 4:6) Our speaking should bear the taste and flavour of the Holy Spirit. We need to maintain our saltiness as believers and not let any sin cause us to loose our saltiness. As believers we are the salt of the earth and we are the ones God uses to help preserve this earth.

4... Having Faith in God gives us a way to go on in Peace.
There are so many verses in the bible that are a source of peace not just for us but for this world that desperately needs it.

Recognize that there is only one Creator, who creates all things. See all of creation as perfect because the Creator of all things knows what he is doing. The only thing not perfect is the judgement by men who believe they know better than the Creator. Without judgement anyone will be at peace.
