Often we Love but we dont get Love. Its shows us the value of Love. Only when we are hurt we realize why not to hurt. Our relationships and dealings on earth show us a reflection of ourselves. Only when we are kicked out of the race of life, we start to reflect. We are here on earth to see how to work in a group and gain wisdom that our actions carry consequences and once we realize that problems may lie in our thoughts and actions. We start to correct them and once we correct them, we realzie all God wanted was what was good for us and then we start to Love. We need to collaborate with God and enter back the chain of command. Do you think then that tough journey of life is justified because we gained wisdom here through our actions and now will have better communication with God in the spiritual life of Love and Peace forever?

I'm okay with the first bit with the in & out stuff, but I really just cannot accept that the worms will be playing pinnocle on my snout. I mean, how would they even hold the cards??

The atheists on this board seem to love calling it a "fairy tale" but I can't find a single mention of fairies.

Did abraham have a wife and then slept with Hagar? So if I get married and my wife says "sure, you can have sex with Sally down the road" does that mean I can be an adulterer?

And what about Jacob, David, and Solomon? They all had multiple wives...so does that mean that Jesus denounce, or condemned those people??

So if that's a yes, that means Jesus is saying that his religion has been led astray by bad men from the beginning....and if he didn't condemn those people does that mean adultery or polygamy isn't that bad that Jesus didn't bother taking his time to condemn the people??

I don't understand.

People that are religious are so happy to say that they have faith. And doubting in anyway is bad (Doubting Thomas). But you need doubt to get to the truth of anything. Without it you accept with little to no reason to. Just because I believe something does not make it real. But with tried and true tests what I believe can be proven to be true. Not only that others can do what I did and get the same results. Faith in an invisible being is not the something that a rational person can honestly believe in when they consider the facts.

Atheism accounts for much less than 10% of the american population, and only slightly more than 10% on the world population...versus Xianity accounting for nearly 50% of usa population, and 33% of world population...wouldn't the wide path be Xianity? (by your own silly proverbs of course)

We know islam religion was founded after the other main religions, and we do know that there is a little similarity in the writings of the quran and the other holy books particulary with regard to the people i it and stories.

Since Islam came later, it is quite reasonable to assume that it is copied from the other holy books and edited by mr.mohammed.(we all know how this character is - check out www.thereligionofpeace.com for details)

If I am in traffic behind a car with a catholic bumper sticker or a rainbow flag I always pass them and get in front of them then slow down so they can see my REAL MEN LOVE JESUS" bumper sticker. Because a true child of God should never be behind an abomination right?

I've heard many, many rumors that December 21, 2012, is the day the world ends.

Personally, I don't believe a word of it. I think that the Mayans just stopped predicting. It seems that the solstice would be a perfect place to stop, and an easy place to start again.

Besides, I have heard that the Age of Aquarius isn't going to reach its peak until 2654. The Age of Aquarius has been described as characterized by technical progress, and finally the dissolve of religion due to science.

Now, I'm not saying we'll make it until 2654.

I'm just saying we'll almost certainly make it past 2012, unless there's a nuclear war or something.

So, why WILL the world end as we know it in 2012?

Since all humans are imperfect, I would venture to say all have sinned once or twice in life. Were you repentant afterward? How did you know you were truly repentant? Did you just know you were or did someone else have to tell you that you were repentant?

I have seen many postings by people who do not believe in Hell, claiming that it is not fair...What can a person do in a short time , to desirve eternal destruction,or sepairation from God.

Is Heaven or Earthly Paradise fair? if you take the same topic and switch it around, People have no problem adopting the rewards God blesses us eternially with his Grace.
If you are going to throw out one doctrine as undesirved, don't you have to throw out the other as completely undesirved as well?

How come born again and fundamentalist Christian types don't like to have a good time? Don't try to say that you do, either. I went to a coffee house put on by some born again church folks. It was a bunch of people playing out of tune guitars, singing off-key about Jesus, and nobody there wanted to burn one in the parking lot. The pie wasn't even very good, though I hate to not be grateful over any pie, so I won't be. Still. I've had better at the Methodists.

1 In the beginning when God createda the heavens and the earth, 2the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from Godb swept over the face of the waters. 3Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.

5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6 And God said, "Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so. 8God called the dome Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

9 And God said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.

How do you feel about all this negative energy pointed at us? I mean why do people have to hate anything. If other religions were more Christian than us than why all the hate and fighting... Didn't Jesus say to love thy enemies... I am a convert and I love my church but I also care about others too. I don't hate one religion, no one. I don't speak anti anything. All I want to know is why all the hate??? I mean if people don't like the church than oh well, but to have all this angry and confusion is driving me to insanity. Why do people hate the religion so much? Maybe something evil is driving this hate...? What do you guys think?

This is for only LDS members. Please no Anti anything... (kinda defeats the purpose of the question...)
