I have a facebook and I'm part of a group called, "Top Ten Reasons Why I love Israel" It's just a fun group that lists some cool facts abou Israel...no hating or anything (although there are always psychos joining the group just to curse the real members off)

anyways some guy messaged me and was like, "My Holy book is right, you are all a bunch of pigs."

So I can assume the guy is Muslim but my question is, "Does the Koran actually say Jews are pigs?"

(btw i did nothing to this guy i simply ignored his really weird and uncalled for message)

Okay, I can't speak for everyone, but I am really fu-dge-cking confused. How the hell does that work, having a war? And what are we warring over? What type of ammo are we using, and WHAT?

I know I'm random, sometimes I'm a waste of time, but I really don't get it...

I have an interest in beliefs and religions
but by the appearance of things on this Yahoo!Answers site it is appearing that nowadays the greatest catechism subject that makes Christians different from atheists and other non-church goers is the subject of Gay Sex
isnt it rather Kinky for such a large segment of the Population to be so exclusively oriented into what is going on in other people's bedrooms especially in the bedrooms of those sharing with the same sex?
Is it evolution or is it creation that the greater public view of Christianity is no longer linked to teachings of love thy neighbor but rather a rather perverse interest in if the neighbor is other than just sleeping with a certain sex
I am a bit more interested in other aspects of religions than just sexuality but it seems to me that nowadays religion needs sexuality and especially imagined perversity of sexuality to be interesting to the lives of those professing to be in the faith

I am Chinese Christian in China, but I believe all roads lead to Rome, especially the Big Four-- Christianity, Islam, Confucianism, and Hinduism. If you believe Jesus is the only way, truth, and life, please answer the following without quoting the Bible:

1) Why did Chinese, Egyptian, and Indian civilizations once take the lead in the entire world, in terms of cultural and scientific achievements?

2) If you come to China or Japan, do you want to be respected or viewed as a sinful barbarian, simply because you are not a Confucianist ?

3) When I was in the US (I was NOT a Christian back then), most Americans were very nice to me. No body said:" So, you are not a Christian? I am going to keep an eye on you, and I'll call the corps if you make a sudden move." Why do you people on Yahoo Answers keep on saying all unbelievers will burn in hell ?

4) I think a contemporary Christian, such as I, should be open minded and read the Bible between lines. Do you agree ?

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. (Rev. 8:1-5)

Is the Angel that has the golden censer a particular one, or just a random angel?

When we take a stance for righteousness, it will offend people!

Mathew 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying Tell us when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your COMING, and the END of the AGE?

Vs. 10 goes on to say, And then many will be OFFENDED, will betray one another and will hate one another

Ok, so I have always believed in the "age of accountablility"(meaning there is a certain age when a child or person knows right from wrong and basic knowledge of Christ). Basically some believe there is not one since there is no mention of it in the bible(so, in short, everyone who is not saved is going to hell, no matter the age), but others believe because they can't fathom the thought of God sending a baby to hell just because he/she wasn't saved when really had no idea of the gospel. Whats your thoughts??? Once again I know this is a very controversial topic, just wanted some different opinions. Please no sarcastic comments.
