Never been able to quite figure that one out.
It might be that Christians are happy with their life and Jesus being Lord over it. Christians that have been baptized with His Spirit are solid and have a sound mind.
People that don't believe in God have a void in their spiritual life and want to be in contact with those that do, even if it means not agreeing with them and calling them retarded bunnies.
Why would they come here in the first place? They claim that it is to protect others from brainwashing but that is a front.
It may be because can you just imagine how boring a site that was just for atheists must be? I mean how many ways can you say "I dont believe in God and those that do get on my nerves" before you have said it every possible way?
So they come here to get some sort of satisfaction by speaking to those that have faith in Jesus. Even if it is to say, I dont believe in Him and you are crazy.
Jesus gets under your skin one way or the other.
And by the way, I never answer a question that says
"For Atheists only"
Why would I, I am not an atheist.

Why do atheist questions get "christian" answers. It's an open forum. I have been known to have an asker tell me what a "good christian" I was over one of my answers (I'm agnostic). I do find both theist and atheist questions to be interesting and informative at times and to be pure drivel sometimes. Since I probably know bible history better than most christians and was a (nominal) practicing christian for many years, I can give good "christian" answers when called for. I don't try to change anyone's belief, that is their personal opinion. Blessings on your Journey!

Apparently if you cut someone out or use the word atheists and Christian, the other party flocks to it! I recently asked a question looking for an atheist who could spiritually help me to find who I am and I had all these atheists telling me how I'm wrong and to start repenting. I guess everyone is looking to be invited to the party. To top it off with my question, none of the Christians or atheists tried to help me with my problem, they just wanted to prove that I was wrong and they were right. What jerks!

Hello dear!
Because we pay and support our states and the state turns in:
paying Christianity
unconditionally support
follow orders of Christians
Media is governed by them
schools are occupied and promote them
and so on!
Thus, we want to be strong and subsequently request our freedom! Why should our taxes support only one party which is against us?
Don't take it light! Even before birth we are sinners and to get saved we should PAY and KEEP in power those religious tycoons who trade hope!

It depends on the questions.
*Sometimes it's because the Christian is asking or making a comment about atheists.
*Sometimes it's because they feel that they can contribute an intelligent answer.
*And sometimes, it's just for the same reason that Christians go in and "answer" questions from the "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered" Section.

Generally speaking - there are exceptions...
Atheists think they are right and seek to correct christian errors.
However, Christians think they are right and seek to correct atheists.
And this is not an exclusive site - anyone who wants to answer (or ask) is free to do so - regardless of spiritual considerations or religion.

Oh, I don't know. Why do Christians answer atheist questions? It's not like questions belong to one side or another. This is an open forum, which means that everyone is invited to share his/ her opinion. If Christians don't like the atheists answering their questions, perhaps they should go to a site aimed at Christians exclusively.

I'm hoping that I can encourage critical thinking and give you your Sunday mornings back.
Also, I'd hate for you to think I stopped answering because you converted me.

situations such as your question comes from all sides of religion
to melty blood- are sure you're not the retartded bunny? and i'm not saying that to insult you. just to point out that you're an offensive person, not to say i'm always 100% not
to david. v- you, as an atheist, have views on christianity, other than the fact you dont' believe it to be real? i guess it's possible, but unless you were christian at some point can you really have in-depth answers?
and this question isn't spefically for atheists- this is more of a human opinion thing, not religious

Because they want to give them a taste of a different opinion, and in some cases, correct them in an area that they may be wrong on, or misunderstand.
