Um...Koran Question?

I have a facebook and I'm part of a group called, "Top Ten Reasons Why I love Israel" It's just a fun group that lists some cool facts abou Israel...no hating or anything (although there are always psychos joining the group just to curse the real members off)

anyways some guy messaged me and was like, "My Holy book is right, you are all a bunch of pigs."

So I can assume the guy is Muslim but my question is, "Does the Koran actually say Jews are pigs?"

(btw i did nothing to this guy i simply ignored his really weird and uncalled for message)

um well i can assume he was muslim because

1. His name
2. The place he was currently living
3. The way he said, "My Holy Book" because I'm pretty sure no Christian Bible would say stuff like that
and
4. I would not base my opinions on a whole culture because of one idiot lol

I'm not even religious I'm just born Jewish...I'm really agnostic but i do understand Israel's right to exist and not to mention they have the hottest people in the world lol, that's the only reason i was in the group not because i was Jewish

I don't think that the Quran says that Jews are pigs. I'm not sure, but I think that it doesn't say that. By the way, if that guy is a muslim, then he was doing the wrong thing. In Islam, muslims are suppose to respect eachother's religion. So like the guy above me said, don't think that all the muslims act like that, because they don't. But the guy who said that to you, did the wrong thing. I hope this helped!

PS: If you know that guy is muslim by his name, than what IS name? Put it in the additional details to prove it.

PPS: Just to let you know, just because a person is named an arabic name, doesn't mean they are a muslim.

What? First of all, you cannot assume he was Muslim. What makes it safe to assume that? And if he was Muslim, shame on him! His actions were unislamic and uncalled for. Please don't judge all Muslims based on the actions of a few. To answer your question, NO, the Qu'ran absolutely does not call Jews pigs!

i read the Quran and it says that the people at the time of prophet Moses (pbuh) were told not to work on Saturdays and this is a religious day for the Jews but they carried on working and if they were caught they would get stoned to death by the order of Prophet Moses (pbuh) and many carried on working even after and they killed many prophets after Moses (pbuh) and this is why God said be -thee ape and pig - they used to break laws after laws and this was the punishment to them after them breaking so many laws even after seeing so many signs
