Is it possible that there’re three Gods? Which of them is creator of all what exists? Which of them rules and controlles everything in the universe? What do they do if they have conflict between one another? Don’t you think that it can cause the end of the world? Is it impossible? Doesn’t they can have conflict like mankind? If they’re not comparable to mankind why you say that he has son? If he has son why he couldn’t save his son from murder? Don’t you know that every child looks like his parents? If Jesus is Lord couln’t he save himself from other people's murder? How is it possible that God, almighty, creator of everything can be killed by helpless people in compared with almighty God? If you say that God has son, why christian monks do not want to marry and have son? If it is bad why they say that God has son? If it is good, why they don’t want to marry and have son?

Take this Miller ad. Now I like a good Christian or god joke. And I know the Christians have there athiest ones, and some are good as well. It's wonderful that we have the freedom to do that. But even I found this to go too far. So how do you know, when you've gone too far.?

And not only contradictive, but blatantly immoral. They claim that the bible teaches morals.....but practically in every scripture, there are stories containing rape, sodomy, homosexuality, murder, intoxication, or fornication.....the six of MANY things that Christians, themselves, are against.
How can they not see the flaws, the contradictions, the fallacies, the inaccuracies? And they follow it so blindly, and without question. Why?

I believe the teaching that a garment (such as a sweater) should be made of only one type of material, is found in the Bible.

Does anyone consider THAT teaching to be relevant today?

Don't you often wear cotton/polyester shirts?

So how are some scant and ambiguous references to homosexual acts all that important?

Many modern scholars consider that these references were not refering to monogomous, loving relationships.

What do you think?

It may be a form of trolling (and we know what Y!A community guidelines say about that), but I want to know what you think about it.

Isn't parody a legitimate form of expression? Can't satire make a point, and isn't it good comic relief?

Or do you find it offensive and juvenile?

Please explain your answer.

Since god created everything and we are his children, than wouldn't that technically make it a mother.

we dont even know how long Adam was without an Eve and only cavorting with Jehovah privately and intimately just the two of them in the Garden
Isnt it possible that it could have been aeons
and that Eve and her apple eating and the downfall contractions of our present civilization cultural situation is the reason that the Jehovah God is a Jealous God
that we chose this and dieing to go to some other Heaven rather than having man live in Eden with it's Creator?

I am making a clear distinguishment between BELIEVING a god exists and WANTING one to exist. I simply DON'T want a God to exist, I believe it makes everything much more simple. I am not sure I want to be a robot and eternally worship a god who I don't know exists. Heck, I am not even sure I share his values. I don't think it's cool to send bears to kill children for laughing at a prophet, or to kill people for violating the sabbath.

Anyway, I don't see what I would be doing for "all eternity."

What do you you think?

What is that I hear? Free will. Well that seems to be the answer for everything. Are you trying to tell me that God could not create us with free will and at the same time protect kids from getting molested and abused. Hell he would not even have to protect kids from getting abused if he desiged us different.

If the answer is free will then perhaps God is not All powerful? Because you are saying that free will causes child suffering and God can do nothing about it. If you still contend that he is all powerful,w well then perhaps God is not All good? How can an all good being sit back and watch kids be tortured.

God of love? What a joke!

I am not depressed and I'm not going to commit suicide. I just want to get your feedback on this. We live in an unfair dog-eat-dog world. Too much happens in too little a time. We don't even know a God exists. Is it worth fighting to be successful and stay alive everyday? What do we get out of it? Eventually we all rot...

Question: Is islam a peaceful religion?
Question Details: peaceful=how people interpret it. And please, for those answering, no death threats to others, keep this civil.
Deleted Answer: No. Listen to what a former Muslim has to say about Islam...Saleem says don't buy everything you hear about Islam these days. "Muslims will say 'We're a people of peace -- we worship the same God,'" He said. But what they're really taught is "that Jews are pigs and monkeys. Jews they must be killed. 'The rock will cry out "there's a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him,"' Saleem said. http://www.cbn.com/CBNnews/245934.aspx All you have to do is open your eyes and look around to see that Islam is very violent.

What exactly constitutes a Christian shoving their religion down someone's throat? If a Christian mentions as an answer on here that "Jesus died for their sins and He is real", is that considered shoving? I feel this would be an opinion and not preaching, personally. Just as a Pagan could say I think fundamentalist christians are idiots, that is just an opinion they are stating to be fact for them. I also, would not consider that shoving their beliefs. This is an honest question, I would appreciate no one bashing anyone and just specify what you personally believe to be shoving religion down one's throat. Gods peace

Tell me your story it can be small or big, it does not matter. Just something that makes you smile because God took that time to prove to he is there.

Tonight I had a small experience with God but it means a lot to me. I believed in God but my faith started to stray and the devil was trying to pull me back. Though I have been think thinking for the past week I don't want that faith to leave me. Though I didn't know what to do.
So tonight I turned on the TV and it was a Christian channel. There were these two guys talking. These two men were friends. On of the men was asking the other questions about his life. I was just wondering you know what is going to be the end result of this show. I listen for a little while longer and then a commercial came on. I sat at my computer chair. I looked at a few things on my computer. Then I suddenly heard the phone ring. It was a friend of mine. I began talking about just what was going on in my life. Nothing important. I heard the TV again.
