I am not depressed and I'm not going to commit suicide. I just want to get your feedback on this. We live in an unfair dog-eat-dog world. Too much happens in too little a time. We don't even know a God exists. Is it worth fighting to be successful and stay alive everyday? What do we get out of it? Eventually we all rot...

Eventually we all rot. Now, we all live. Now we can all be happy. Now we are all living on this planet together. Now, we are Gods children. The world is a beautiful place if you work it to be that way. live under God. Be happy. Bad things happen in the world every day, every minute. Miracles happen every day, every minute. A baby is born, a friendship is formed, someone is saved, people are loved. Bad things happen for reasons. Without bad, there is no good. Without suffering, there is no happiness or love. Yes, the world may be unfair, but if the world were fair, it would still be imperfect. We make it imperfect. People who do crime make it imperfect. Follow God and work toward a better world. Life has its difficult struggles. You have your down days. YOu may even have times when life has no purpose. I know I have had those times. Live life because of FUTURE. Because other people need you. Because you are here for a purpose. Because God has a plan for you. Because you are loved by so many people. You have so much. Not material things, but love and hope and prayer. You have all of that, or you can. You can have a relationship with God. If you do already, then have a better relationship, get to know God and talk to God. He is a reasona lone to fight for and live for.

It doesn't matter if I think that it is worth the struggle. What matters is what YOU make OF the struggle. You have to build yourself.

Imagine if you were a person with a level 1 thinking and you are faced with a level 5 problem. It would seem way beyond what you can handle. But imagine if you built yourself up to a level 5 thought process. The problem would be equal to you. If you keep working on yourself and then you become a level 10 person faced with the same level 5 problem....wouldn't seem like an issue at all would it?

If that makes sense....I can explain it a little better but its much to lengthy. You should get the jist. A struggle is only a struggle if you let it be and defeat you.

If we can go with the flow then life is worth the struggle.
Not the struggle to earn more money, get a better car, better house, a batter job/promotion, better wife, better children etc.
Because there will always be the want for better and better all the time - despite whatever we have. No-one has achieved the best. and so the want will always be there and life will be a struggle.
The real struggle will be when one struggles to get one more breath at the last breath.

Life is worth it if we can struggle to become fulfilled, contented and satisfied with what we have/don't have and so achieve a happiness not dependent on the above mentioned.

Yes I do, and I suffer with clinical depression. It is true the world can be a cruel and unrelenting place. It seems every time you turn around people are hurting each other. I just try to look at the good things. I know is sounds all pollyannaish but it's true. I hope when I die people remember me as a sweet, loving, awesome person that made a difference in the lives of others, and made the most of her life.

I said a prayer for you. Yes, life is worth living. So many others are touched by my life, and I like to think I help others.I know God is real,Jesus is my saviour. When I pass from this life into the next,I know I will stand before my God.
While I am here ,I try to be a blessing. Things don't matter a whole lot to me.They will burn. What matters is people , my family, my church family, my neighbors, those here on Q&A.
Work for someone one else. Feed the homeless, visit the sick. When your life reaches out to others it has more meaning. More joy, peace, pleasure.<><

Yes, that is a good question. Humans are not any different than other living things on this planet, animals etc. You are born, you live and you die. You have about 27,000 days on this planet. Some people are lucky, good looking rich, some not, like if you were born in a country like Africa where you may not eat for a week at a time, that is a struggle. There is no God.

YES life is worth it! Look around you-there are so many miracles! Only a higher power would create such splendor-none of it happened at random. We have relationships, children, pets, jobs, and can often get run down in the day to day.
We're put on this earth to make choices and we are given wonderous things like sushi, pizza, rice & beans and other things that all have their own taste-pets that love us, dolphins that swim and communicate with us, close friends that become part of our families, ....our bodies are miracles in themselves in the way everything works together..
How you live can be changed...there is so much to enjoy!
I only have to look at my fish tanks to know there is a God, my 3 gallon pico reef tank is filled with color, life...fish, tentacles, waving corals, crabs, worms, ...none of this was an accident.

Well, eventually all of us would be dead and gone but till then, there is a lot one has to go through and that's what we call a Life. It's entirely up to us to live it up or rot.Since the beginning of human race, people think ,decide and work for the life they wish to live. What they get out of it is also a consideration for people who want to rot and not only for people to want to rough it out.As a living organism,it's evident that we should live it up than rot.Let's leave God out of it as life as such isn't simple enough without Him.Take your own pick and decide.

I totally understand how you feel: whats the point, right?
I think that life is like a videogame. We all end up game over (dead). Until we reincarnate in our next life to be able to figure this puzzle out. Unfortunately, hurt pains ans injustice cuts our efforts short and brings us disenchantment so we don't go forward and don't evolve.
think about it, if were still searching for truth in the past, it means that we're regressing.
Personally I don't think life is worth the struggle coz what we're living is not life. It's hell.
I've never met happy people in my life. And it's obvious that hell is riding our a.sses

of course, but why should life be a struggle, life should be enjoyable yeah alot of bad things happen but its the way you handle these occurences grieve and be sad but dont let them rule your life, death happens in everyones life, you have t accept and move on have special days were you can grieve for your loved ones who have passed, do you really think these people would want you t be sad, other things happen in life which you may think are unfair but instead of dwelling on them take a step back and try another way forward, never set your goals to high, have your main goal, the worst possible outcome and a few in between so the steps aint so big, failure is less likely, but use set backs as an extra encouragment, and keep yourself motivated, but always leave time for a bit of fun, dont rush into things without thinking over the situations, only fools rush in and never come out on top, life shouls be the most wonderful thing, enjoy wat u do, dont do it coz u feel pressured and then you aint happy, dont be frightened of new challenges, make them exciting, meeting new people all the time, new friends, some friends will be loyal but a lot will decieve you, but take them blows but dont let them affect you, dont befriend people coz they make you look good being around them, good mates are very hard t come by, treat people with respect some will treat you badly but so what, each knockback you have let it make you stronger, trust others but always be carful, if somone cons you once learn from it and dont let that person do it again, people will want t fight you, better men walk away, but somtimes its not possible and you hav t stand your ground, good people will achieve more than bad, life is as tough as you let it, and as easy as you want it, life is full of suprises good and bad but enjoy the good ones, and make the best of a bad situation, take good advice wen it comes your way, dont listen to idiots, be carful with a woman/man some will cheat but dont let the bad experienses effect later relationships not all people are the same u may have a few bad relationships, but so does it matter at least you no you havnt settled for the wrong person, the right person is out ther for us all, dont stay in a lovless relationship for a childs sake, a child will be happier with 2 parents that are happy apart, than unhappy together, help others that need it, but dont let them take advantage of your good nature, but dont ever expect in return, your rewards will come later in life, love be happy enjoy if ive missed anything please let me no and i will try t help,
