Just trust God. I know it is difficult sometimes. Once you start though it is fun. Prayer is not saying certain words but just connecting to God, more than just adding Him to your friends list but hanging out with Him constantly. I used to worry about how to pay bills and keep up with my wife and kids on my salary as a baker and it was rough. When my car broke down, I asked God for a car I could afford that ran decent. The fact is, I couldn't afford to buy a car at all. Well, the car I have now, the one I asked for, didn't cost me anything; talk about affordable.

Read the verses in Matthew where Jesus talks about worry during His Sermon on the Mount. I also find many of the Psalms comforting in troubled times--you can probably find one or more that fits your situation. Model a prayer after a psalm that reflects your feelings and/or pray something similar to the "Serenity Prayer" used by AA. "Lord give me the grace to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
Pray as specifically as you can for your needs in the name of Jesus, and trust that God hears you. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit prays for us when we don't know what to pray for. Make sure there is no unconfessed sin in your life that you need to repent of, so that your prayers are not hindered.
It's ok to keep praying about a situation until it is resolved, but as you do so, you should have a sense of peace when you talk to God as He lifts the burden from you.
Also as you pray, learn to wait upon the Lord for His answer. His Will may not bring resolution to the trouble in the way you think it should, or on your timetable. Ask Him to give you more faith to trust Him for an answer, and pray that somehow through this situation that He will get honor and glory.
The devil will try and make you doubt and worry, but worry is really a sign of a lack of faith. Each time the doubt pops in your mind, ask the Lord to remove it and to renew the sense of peace in your life.
Remember that no matter what happens, God is still in control. Romans 8:28 is a good verse to claim.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." I love the illustration I once heard along with this verse, about how God is weaving a beautiful tapestry of our life, except here on earth we can only see the back side of it, and we can't see the pattern. Some of it is even ugly looking on the underside. But in heaven the exquisite design will be revealed to us at last.
Think back to past problems He's delivered you through, and strengthen your faith by listening to the testimony of others. Surround yourself with Christian friends who can help you claim God's promises, pray with you and share your burdens. Listen to uplifting Christian music, and stay in the Word. Keep doing these things every time you get down or anxious--ultimately you have to "let go and let God", but the strength and faith to do that will come from the Lord as you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and draw you closer to Him.
God bless you---I hope and pray this helps!

In my experience, when you are confused and worried and not sure if God will answer your prayers, it's not a good idea to try and be extemporaneous. You just get tongue-tied and end up not knowing what to say. In times of great distress, a prayer book (siddur, etc.) is good because it helps you to focus your thoughts - whether you're praying for yourself or someone else. You don't necessarily have to pray the prayers exactly as they are written (I often do some mental "editing" to tailor the prayer to the particular situation) but it does help to have a guide. I don't know what sect you belong to, but there are even generic books available with prayers for difficult times. It's a good idea to invest in one or two.

1st of all, you must understand that everything happens for a reason. We all in God's hand, sometimes things happened the way that not make any sense. No one can tell why or how things happen in that way. We all, no matter if you are a homeless or president, we all born, grew up, get sick , and die. Just believe in God in you heart, kept doing good thing, be honest, helping each other, and be the best you can. In case, if you die tomorrow, at least, you will not be sorry on what you have or have not done.

You are human, you can't help but to worry. I actually think of that as a blessing. The way I look at it, if you worry about people, it means you have a good heart... and from what I hear, God likes the good hearts â¥âºâ¥
I don't care how close you are to God, you will never be able to give all your worries to him 100% and I don't think he wants us to. He wants us to care, if we stop worrying it kinda says we stop caring. I have a personal experience that I won't say on here, but God took my worry away... it was still there just a bit, but I had peace of mind and... I guess I felt... safe? Well it turned out all my worry was for naught, everything I was worried about ended up to be alright.

Learning to trust God completely is something that can only be achieved with time. You will be tested. The tests will teach you patience and make your faith stronger.
James 1:2-3:
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
When I pray, I just pour out my heart to God. In your case, I would pray something like this:
"Lord, teach me how to trust you at all times, and in all circumstances. Increase my faith, Lord, I pray".
Don't beat yourself up too much about this. God knows exactly how we feel when we are going through trials, and we have Christ as our Intercessor. God gets us.
And in closing, I'd like to leave you with this:
Romans 8:28:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
God bless.

One of the hardest things for us to do is to give control over to God. We all want to be in control. Pray that God will give you guidance and peace for the things that trouble you. He wil listen. Remember God gives us Tribulation to teach us perseverance which leads to a building of character. I to struggle with giving control but I tell once I do I feel at complete ease that God will take care of it.
God Bless

The only thing that brings me peace, in times of turmoil, is by petitioning the Lord, in prayer, for His peace and strength! By trying to surrender my loved one to Him! If I feel worried or, anxious, I know that I have not totally surrendered this issue to Him. Therefore, I keep praying and giving this to the Lord.
He does hear those prayers and you can walk through the deepest valley's, knowing that you are not walking alone as you feel His peace.
Understanding your situation, I am going to pray, in agreement with you, that you will be able to place your burdens upon Him and allow Him to cast your worry away!
God Bless You...praying

I pray the following scriptures and place my name there every time I get anxious over anything. I speak it over and over slowly until it takes hold..
Philippians 4:6-7: (I place my name here) is anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, (l) let (my) your requests (I name the requests) be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will (guards) guard (my) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen
Praying the actual word with your name in it is very powerful. It has and does work for me.

There is something called the Sabbath. It is not a day of the week it is the special rest of the soul offered by Father to every one of His children. Christ became our Sabbath. We are commanded to enter into this rest. Obey God. Remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy.
Our Father tells the truth at all times. Do not treat him like a liar. Trust Him. He deserves it.
Maybe it is time for you to find that out for real.
God bless
