Question: Is islam a peaceful religion?
Question Details: peaceful=how people interpret it. And please, for those answering, no death threats to others, keep this civil.

They ask these questions and if we don't agree with them our answers are removed. Talk about censorship. Nothing I said was untrue. Do you think that every answer that bashes Christians gets removed? Absolutely not. Is this Iran or America?

I totaly expect this question to be erased. The same way our Christian Heritage has been erased from our History books. I believe we are very near to losing our freedom of speech to the P.C. group.

By staying away from the subject of Islam I would feel that they got their way. I'm sure a lot of people avoid exposing them because they are afraid. That's how terrorism is supposed to operate. I will continue to answer these questions and expose their darkness and also preach the Gospel of salvation through Christ. One day I may get my yahoo acct. cancelled and even may some day lose a head. God bless!!

Lets not forget that the disciples weren't bashful about exposing false doctrines. Teaching the truth is an ever present task as a Christian but exposing lies is also part of it. We can't let ourselves be bullied into silence.

I know what they are doing.
Look, it's like this:
We got a pretty good view of the twisted sense of logic they carry, the paradox's they practice with things that are scripture and things that are not really scripture, the excuse making that they make for every bad thing Muslims do, the historical blindness they are taught to believe - especially their common ignorance to what happens every time a religion dictates the law to governments.
So of course they are going to lurk and report in the background. It's expected that they would be treacherous and evil. That's what they have been taught. What else can we expect with those who practice the paradox of calling themselves a 'religion of peace' and yet admit that they also practice Jihad (struggle) ?
How are you going to promote peace when the order is to struggle? You can't.
People taught in other societies recognize this because there is no religious pressure to taint the teaching of average schools. But they aren't treated like that where they are taught. They are taught to think illogically.

BERT: this is pathetic, and I'm sorry you are experiencing it. I stay away from anything regarding Islam, for the most part, because I choose to spend my time on Christianity. A favorite idea shared with me by someone much wiser explained that the way counterfeit money is detected and revealed is by the constant and complete focus on REAL money....the counterfeit will reveal itself when placed next to the real money...same with truth and lies.

Yes, I agree with you on that. It is the same way with Mormons. I asked a question about Mormonism and one of the people who responded to the question turned my question in because the person who I picked (although the truth) wasn't flattering to the Mormons.
I agree that YA does not know what Freedom of Speech or Censorship means. Sad.

Nope. I've answered questions like what do you dislike about the muslim culture, etc ... and told the question asker what I know of islam. I do not consider myself an expert on the subject, but I do know several people who have come to the USA from Iran, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern countries.

Every violation I've had, and I've had many, have been about islam.
You need to fight it! I have and won, quite a few recently. Point out that it's a quote, part of history, a direct answer to the question, quoted from the quran.
Your answer is different than someone just saying what their opinion is, cursing, nothing to back up their view, etc.

I have had two answers deleted but that was before the new guidelines kicked in. I don't think they were violations but YA did not reverse it. If I were you I would be careful of angering the gods of Yahoo. You can't win.

i mean obviously this is america so you should have freedom of speech...but i still think that your answer could be considered offensive to some and its really ignorant to say something like "Islam is violent" b/c if you look at mideval times Christianity did some really violent things too. im not saying it was right to take your answer down b/c this person was asking your opinion and you gave it to them...but just like think about what youre saying i guess. i feel like people also had the right to "report" it if they felt offended by it.

It's normal. People can and still report for anything and everything. Even if you appeal it, it doesn't do anything. At least it didn't with me.
You can appeal it, but again, appealing is almost always useless.
