When I think evolution, the first things I think is that chimps evolved to people, that evolution is just a "theory", life came from nothing, that the fossil record was created by satan and that all the geologists, biologists and every other scientist that works with evolution are so unscupulous that they'll make up anything to support their "theory."

The thing is, I know that I'm just lying to myself and that I should really buy books about evolution to truly understand it. I'm just lazy so I won't read about it and I'll keep thinking creationism is accurate. Is this right?

I'm married to
my best friend and lover
but some thoughts we cannot share
with each other

Some horrible memories
I do not share
a childhood obsenity
is still my nightmare

For 43 years
I kept this my secret
but went looking
for answers
I found on the
internet

The people I trust
in my life are so few
anonymous I'm able
to safely
review

But I did not expect
to find people who dare
people who hear me
and who really care

Is it OK to love them
for I may never know them
Is it OK to tell them
that I really care?

In life we are silent
say nothing, feel nothing
we suffer in silence
our families don't share

On Answers I've found her
Bella my warrior
Is it OK to tell her
I love her?

On answers I've found him,
Jack B I describe him
Is it OK to tell him
I love him?
My brother!

On answers She guides me
A moon is beside me
I tell her I love her
she never denies me

My friends here
are numerous
all of them humourous
I love them all
dearly
I say so by flirting
it's my way of sharing
my feeling, my hurting

Is it OK to love
my friends on this forum?
Is it OK to love them
for I may never know them
Is it OK to tell them
that I really care?

Born again christians are not many in the world ;;; how can one join other?
i believe that born again are not more than 7000 allover the world for that is very difficult to one find another ... what a born again christian can do to find another?

1.3 billion saying that they are christians but that is not true ;;; God sent me this revelation ; and thats true He will say go away i dont know you §
you only can say Jesus is my Lord by the Holy Spirit ... and you are only a true Christian if you did what is written in Romans 10:9. time is running and Jesus is coming and i believe the true chritians will start to make contact because many are completly separated from the world and alone some feeling loniless and in very great difficuties

If you're not already aware I'm one of the more firmly entrenched atheists on Y!A R&S. I'm educated to a high level, I have a scientific and historical background, and I've read very widely in both evolution and anti-evolution literature.

However, I figure that even if I don't believe in the power of prayer, which of course I don't, there must be enough of you out there who do that if you can all get together and pray for my salvation, then it should have a little impact. Consider it a sort of experiment, if you like. If I even feel the slightest difference in my views tomorrow as a result of your combined efforts, you have my word that I will report it here. If I become "saved" at any point in the next YEAR, I will give everything I own to the church and dedicate my life to Jesus.

Does this sound reasonable?

Guess evolution doesn't need support through propaganda.

I really haven't had such a loss in my life, and I thank God for that, for letting me have with me my husband, parents, and my very best friends. I know I don't have them for granted, and if God decides to call anyone of them.. I'll accept it. Although it's easier to say it than actually do it.. If you had endured such a situation could you tell me how to face it? I just.. don't know, am afraid, even though I shouldn't..

Thank you all for your answers

I've spent years arguing that evolution is true and never stopped to think that evolution doesn't conflict with the Bible in any way. Why do Christians refuse to accept evolution, when it HAS been proven and it's quite possible that every word in the Bible is true and evolution is true.

Does it have to do with the verse where Jesus said to be aware of false prophets. That they are wolves in sheeps clothing, That you can tell them by thier fruits?

What fruits did Mohammad have that reveals to Christian he is a false prophet?

We know Jesus often used the parable of the lost sheep and professed that one shouldn't critisize one's brother's faults when one has faults himself.

When Paul convicted Christians as Saul and had them persecuted, maybe killed: Why does he as a Christian preach that people commiting sexual immorality have no excuse for not knowing Gods laws, when he himself was a murderer and persecutor and yet did deserve forgiveness? Does anyone really believe Paul wrote Romans?
