Dear Top Contributor,

The term would be a theist: You believe in a God.

Depending on whether you believe in one God or multiple Gods you could also be a: mono-theist or a poly-theist.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

zoroastrian maybe :)
but if you widen the monotheistic
approach to a spirit-alike creator,
it could be also pagan, even shinto.

A spiritual person, a mystic? You do not have to follow any religion to beleive there is a God.

Imagine for example your favorite writer, you want to know what he does, how he thinks, his ideals, but you don't read his books, the books on which his mind, ideas, feelings are put. Could you really know him then? You could, but it will be a lot harder, wouldn't it? The same happens with God, in the way that if you want to be with him you must read and heed the message of his holy word!

I hope that helped you solve your doubt, may God bless you!
