because they want to call themselves atheist, but deep down inside they really truly believe there is a God. There are two sides of the human brain that is like good and evil, and the evil sides make them choose to believe there is no God when there really is. You know like the angle on one shoulder and the devil on the other??

Several reasons:
I like society and culture, R&S is a subcategory and shows up in the S&C level.

I still hope that there may be some evidence that I might have missed.

I don't like morality being legislated.

My parents are teachers, and I inherited a need to educate people, especially when they swallow the falsehoods that pass for Creationist "pseudo-science".

I don't mind religion taught in a comparative class in a respectful fashion, but not as science.

it incredibly is a solid question. this is form of like: i don't have faith that a vehicle exists that con bypass swifter than one thousand MPH and gets one hundred fifty miles consistent with gallon too. the form of vehicle does not exist--so i don't communicate approximately it. If somebody else feels that there is the form of vehicle---high-quality, have at it, I won't end them Why ought to I care? i don't understand why an Atheist has to maintain asking questions or degrade God whilst they don't have faith in God in the 1st place. till, and optimistically so, they understand they should have faith and are searching for solutions to assist them.

I doubt any individual spends "all day long" on R&S.

We generally do not talk about God; atheists do not believe in god. We talk, and criticize, BELIEF in god, and the arguments used to defend BELIEF in god.

Atheists, and other secularists, have a vested interest in rebutting certain religious claims.

If you spend all day long on here (which you must in order to know the length of time others spend on here) shouldn't you have noticed by now that the plural of atheist is atheists?

Because It's like if Atheists Said

GOD ISN"T REAL CHRISTIANITY SUCKS
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOD...

It's like they're going

All those with white skin suck..
All those with red socks are stupid..

It's because you damn people keep challenging us, but if we dont answer you all go

Well, I guess you cant prove he isn't real, therefore he is..yadayada..so Christianity is better, and you're going to hell cause you dont believe...."

You know what?

I'll take my ******* chances..

At least in hell there's no "Christianity is better than Atheism.."

They want to prove they are right. That they made the right decision to become atheist. In other words, feelings of insecurity.

Faith does not come to us through reason alone, but by the grace of God. If a person opposes even the possibility of God's existence, then any arguments or evidence can be rationalized away.

Let us pray for their conversion.

Do Christians ask this question "all day long" on here?
Honestly, judging from the questions on here on a daily basis, you Christians would go crazy without us Atheists. Most of your questions are directed towards Atheists.
