No ! Muslim men do not shake hands with women.
Just nodding your head and saying "Asalaam O Alykum" is more appropriate.

No Don't. Touching a woman for some men tantamounts to breaking their fast. They may feel uneasy with it, especially in Ramadan and would not want to make it awkward by refusing. Smile, nod your head, exchange pleasantries, its ok to shake if they extend their hand to you, different men have different values so rather safe than sorry.

No, just say salaam but you don't even have to do that. Men are not allowed to touch women who aren't related or married to them. This is considered inappropriate and crosses the lines of modesty and arouses temptations. Please don't be offended though :)

i as a muslim PERSONALLY wouldn't have a problem with it at all. Other people on the other hand...

If theyre progressive I doubt theyd mind.
