"Is it ever too late to save your soul?"
It is too late to save your soul when you inevitably realize that souls, like every other metaphysical concept, don't actually exist. Once a person discovers the concept of souls was devised about 390 CE by St Augustine, to explain the mechanics of how Christ's promise of eternal life could be possible... Once it is further realized both Plato's Idealism and Aristotle's Solipsism are essential components of Augustine's Soul... there is no going back. Solipsism, the idea that one's subjective perceptions form the basis of reality, was utterly discredited when Galileo discovered and Newton confirmed that the physical realm is the basis of objective reality. Plato's Idealism was rendered moot when the EEG machine proved that all thoughts, emotions, memories, and perceptions originate within the neurological structures of a self-contained living human brain. Without Solipsism and Idealism, the Augustinian Soul is utterly impossible -- cannot exist, and even if it did, couldn't work. When the scientific revolution changed humanity's definition of reality from subjective perceptual experience to the objective physical realm, the soul effectively became obsolete. Once a person understands they couldn't possibly have a soul, there is simply no going back -- that which cannot possibly exist is utterly incapable of being saved. NOW it's too late....

It's too late when your dead. And only God can save your soul.
Acts 4:10-12, we are saved in Jesus alone.
Trust in the Lord today while there is still time.
Today is the day of salvation.
There is no repentance in the grave.

Blasphmey of the holy spirit is warned against because this condemns your soul.. But from what i gather , not sure , if it can be done today , at least by those who call themselves Christian . The only time its to late is if you die an unbeliver . But , for those who are not I wouldnt want to wait to long . What if you did wake up in the morn and half the world pop. was gone . And people had been warning you about the rapture or the taking up . Would you belive the bull about alliens or whatever or would you wish you had been a beliver

in the Bible, “soul” is translated from the Hebrew ne?phesh and the Greek psy·khe?. Bible utilization shows the soul to be a guy or woman or an animal or the existence that a guy or woman or an animal enjoys. To many persons, however, “soul” skill the immaterial or spirit area of someone that survives the loss of life of the particular physique. Others comprehend it to be the thought of existence. yet those latter perspectives are actually not Bible teachings. Can the human soul die? Ezek. 18:4: “seem! each and every of the souls—to me they belong. because of the fact the soul of the daddy so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul* it fairly is sinning—it itself will die.” “Immortality of the soul is a Greek concept formed in historic secret cults and elaborated by skill of the certainty seeker Plato.”

I recently read a series of books called Left Behind and according to them it's never too late, even with your dying breath you can save your soul.
Now I don't know if I believe or not, but it was food for thought

My soul is safe. What would I possibly be trying to save it from?
My soul and I are the same...Whatever happens to me will also engulf my soul.

Not as long as you are alive and breathing. Once you die, it is too late. Jesus says, "It is appointed for man once to die, then to judgment."
There are no second chances after death. When you die you either wake up in Heaven with Jesus Christ or in Hell with Satan, where you await final judgment with Satan and are then thrown into The Lake Of Fire for eternity.
Deciding to dismiss Almighty God's word and the warnings and promises of Jesus Christ changes nothing.
EVERY human being who has ever lived faces this choice and this decision. Disbelieving this, rejecting it, dismissing it, changes NOTHING.
Disbelieving, dismissing, and/or rejecting Almighty God's word and Jesus teaching IS a decision. And that decision guarantees you an eternity in The Lake Of Fire.
That is one reason Jesus repeatedly warned and reminded all peoples who heard him. "Choose THIS day, life or death, blessings or curses. I say to you choose LIFE, for tomorrow is promised to no one."

Never; until the very last moment of your life you can repent. For Christians, the story of Jesus nailed and dying on the Cross illustrates this. There was the " thief" on the cross next to Jesus, who said to Jesus, words to the effect, I am supposed to be crucified as I am evil and bad, but you Jesus are an honest man, not a criminal, and undeserving of this punishment of death. Jesus told this man who had been a sinner all his life, some words to the effect, ...this day you will see my Father (God) in Heaven. The man repented, and saved his soul in the last moments of his life. He is known as the "smart thief" as he was smart enough to get himself into Heaven and in the presence of God.
