Think about it.

If god is omnipotent then he could create a way for life to happen without everything needing to eat each other.

To make pain, and suffering, and fear, and death an integral part of everyday life is quite an odd way for a benevolent god to arrange things.

Science eventually uncovers physical evidence for God (arc of the covenant etc.) since science stemmed from religion in the first place would that then make science circular.

I work in a corporate law firm.... in Client Data. I'm not actually one of the lawyers (thankfully I'm not in too deep yet)... but I do have to work with them and put up with their inane requests on a regular basis.
And I hear the people talking in the lifts.... and in the restaurant area.... and all around Moorgate...

.... And I swear I don't understand a single damned thing they're saying. They barely make a shred of sense at all.

Is it ironic that I actually come here and R&S because I find even the christians here make more sense than the people I work with? They seem to be so caught up in their own bizarre little worlds that I honestly don't understand a single thing about them.

She is a woman, she had a baby. He happened to be Jesus and I respect her role in all of that, but I am bewildered by my Catholic friends who have statues and pictures of Mary and pray to her. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I am just trying to put it all in perspective. Any intelligent help is much appreciated.
