I have had several of my answers that simply explain the Catholic faith reported for being "against community standards" when they clearly were not.
I appealed, and they were restored.

Don't let them get away with it.

I almost wonder if we should be sure to file complaints against those who ask questions that are so hate filled and have no other purpose than to try and make Catholics look bad.

I don't mean legitimate questions- I am talking about the hate-mongers.

Thoughts?

We understand from Scriptures that justification is not the covering of sin but the eradication and the beginning of true sanctification and simultaneous renewal. The soul is transformed into goodness instead of being a sinful soul with sins covered by Christ’s blood. We see Scriptures saying that forgiveness results in a complete removal of sins. The only time the Bible mentions the covering of sin is in the context of one man’s sin being forgiven by another. One should note that we have no power to forgive another’s sin, therefore the context is that we do all we can and cover or overlook those sins against us. In relation to God and His removal of sin the Scriptures use quite different terminology such as “blot out”, “blotting out”, “clears away” and “takes away”.

Catholics see justification as a rebirth and supernatural life in a former sinner:
(Joh 3:5 DRB) Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

(Tit 3:5 DRB) Not by the works of justice which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration and renovation of the Holy Ghost.

That creates an inner renewal of the soul:

(Eph 4:23 DRB) And be renewed in spirit of your mind:

Resulting in complete sanctification:

(1Co 6:11 DRB) And such some of you were. But you are washed: but you are sanctified: but you are justified: in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God.

Through this glorious process initiated by God’s grace the soul becomes beautiful, holy and worthy of heaven where nothing unclean is allowed. It is not an ugly sinful soul hidden under the blood of Jesus but instead one sanctified by Him and created anew for His glory.

In Christ

If you do, you are more of a man than those who sit on their rumps all day shouting "woman make me a sandwich" (yeah, I'll make you sandwich alright, a knucklefist sandwich) What do you think of the following?

"Many men think that housework is beneath them, and some of them think that it will undermine their status and position if they help their wives with this work.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW), however, used to “sew his own clothes, mend his own shoes and do whatever other work men do in their homes.” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad in al-Musnad, 6/121; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 4927).

This was said by his wife ‘Aa’ishah (RA), when she was asked about what the Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to do in his house; her response described what she herself had seen. According to another report, she said:

“He was like any other human being: he would clean his clothes, milk his ewe and serve himself.” (Reported by Imaam Ahmad in al-Musnad, 6/256; al-Silsilat al-Saheehah, 671)

The life we live in now is probably pergutory and we are paying for our sins with the corruption of how life is now. Sure, there are some good moments, but do you ever think that how we live life in this "purgatory" determines how we will be in the afterlife.
Honestly, you can't just throw in the bible because who wrote it?... people with probably no more clue than we have now.

Jehovah's Witnesses. Hebrews 13:4 reads, "Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers." If oral sex within a marriage is not fornication (pornea)... then why do some say that Hebrews 13:4 possibly implies that fornication is possible within the marriage bed simply because the context of the verse includes the word "fornication" when talking about marriage?

Since committing adultery IS fornicating, IS dishonoring the marriage, and IS defiling the marriage bed in itself... is it reasonable to conclude that Hebrews 13:4 applies to fornication being committed within the marriage, especially since oral sex is already ruled out as being fornication (pornea)? Is it reasonable to conclude that oral/anal sex is possibly pornea, when it might not be both but maybe one of those things?

Matthew 16:18
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it

The rock was not Peter but the answer that Peter had just given to Jesus:

Matthew 16:16
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

I can't help but believe that God knew some people would misinterpret this scripture. I feel that is why in the same chapter of Matthew we find:

Matthew 16:23
Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

Surely Jesus did not mean that Peter was Satan. Rather Jesus comments once again were a comment on what Peter had just said:

Matthew 16:21-22
From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third...

I work at a railyard and now I need to buy my own tools. I would like Snap on and Mac tools, but they are a lot of money. Is there any brand like them, for less? And Craftsmen is out of the question, as I work and get paid by my tools, they will not honor the warrentee, and I have broken many tools at my job.

Any brand names will help, as I need deep drive impact sockets larger then 1" and many odd hand tools

I have asked this in the proper section, but nobody seems to go there, so if I could get some help, please

Some people just don't care for the truth. They want to live a lie instead! Which is so sad! Jesus and heaven are real satan and hell are real. When you die you will go one or the other! It all depends how you live your life. Where you will end up. If you accept Jesus as your Savior and live for Jesus. You will go too heaven! If you don't accept Jesus and do wicked things then unless you get saved before you die. You will end up in hell. There is only heaven and hell! Jesus and satan! Jesus loves! satan hates! Jesus is the only way too heaven! Without Him there is only hell. Need to face the facts! I am going to tell the truth! I will not tell people anything they want to hear so they want get up set. That would be lieing if I did that. I am the kindof person that will tell the truth no matter what. Its a sin to lie!!! I only tell the truth! You can accept it or not. Thats all up too you! Thats why I pray for the lost souls out there. They need Jesus Christ in there life!

Should i talk to random people? Join a church and do it as a group? or both? I want to help with the great comission, but where do i start?

Also i figured i would ask the people i talk to
whether they have heard of Jesus. Tell them about his love and turn to John 3:16 and tell them about his death for us. DO you think that's enough or should i have more to go along with it?

Food for thought:

The belief is that hell is a place where the wicked go to burn in fiery torment forever.

How do two points in this scripture mesh with that belief. I'm going to use, not the NWT, but the KJ Version here so there's no quarrelling over that issue:

Revelation 20:13, 14 - And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

So a) hell is not permanent because it is said to give up it's dead and b) if hell is a place of fiery torment itself, how is it that it is being tossed into a burning lake?

Thoughts?

I often see this verse quoted as why the Catholic church is the real church. I have been thinking about this and would like to know what you think about this. The Bible says the gates of Hell will not prevail against the church. Is it possible that God saw how the RCC was moving away from Him and in order to preserve His church He led a man to preserve the Church by moving away from the RCC. Read Isaiah. God always has a remnant faithful to Him. Is it just possible that it was this remnant that started the reformation. The "protestant" churches are still built upon Peter and the teachings of the apostles. Only we go by their writings and not traditions attributed to them. What do you think? Could this be?

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
