I work at a railyard and now I need to buy my own tools. I would like Snap on and Mac tools, but they are a lot of money. Is there any brand like them, for less? And Craftsmen is out of the question, as I work and get paid by my tools, they will not honor the warrentee, and I have broken many tools at my job.

Any brand names will help, as I need deep drive impact sockets larger then 1" and many odd hand tools

I have asked this in the proper section, but nobody seems to go there, so if I could get some help, please

I'll give you a star and see if someone can help. I certainly can't. I am not remotely handy, domestic or mechanically inclined. Sorry but hopefully somebody will answer.

Well, I don't know about most tool names so I hope that someone in your field will answer your question. I believe that Stanley tools are still covered for their lifetime and although associated with Sears, I believe that Stanley tools are available just about everywhere. You could go to these websites for the tool companies and see if they have some type of program to help you or just exactly what their company covers for someone in your field. For the Snap on or Mac tools, why don't you see if there is some type of used or warehouse type store near you. Can you advertise for these specific tools that you need and buy them 2nd hand? I presume that you belong to some type of union...is there any way that they can help? You never know til you ask. Guard Dog

Your asking the wrong people. But good luck half of them here will tell you to pray about it the other half will tell you that God doesn't exist and to figure it out for your self. I say ask the best person on your job site how to get a good basic tool start up wher you can add tools one at a time when the money comes in.

al jefferson. while boston traded all those adult men to minnesota, anybody grow to be thinking wow what a crappy commerce. a celebrity for a team of scrubs. yet al jefferson is plenty extra useful than an insignificant scrub. seem on the mans averages from final season and this season. i think of the different adult men in the commerce and al jefferson grow to be a great lifelike commerce for minnesota. of course al jefferson isn't kevin garnett yet he's have a stable 365 days averaging 21 factors 12 rebounds. thats especially close to to garnetts numbers, and inspite of the reality that jefferson doesnt get as many assists or blocks, thats why the celts presented some extra gamers to make up for that misplaced void. al jefferson.

One idea that might just help. Find out if any one is retireing . Then ask them if you could purchase the tools they no longer will need.
I always thought Sears guaranteed their tools.

I just called Sears 559-636-4223. They DO guarantee their hand tools.

If you want quality tools then you will have to pay for them, there is no secret top quality brand at the cheap prices.

In addition to eBay, try Craig's List (online site) and swap meets.

Freq....I haven't any help for you except to tell you that you were asking questions to working men/women whom may have missed your question because you posted it too early.

Try again :)
