Can only guess what you mean by 'pagan roots', but I have always been drawn to nature and American Native Indian folklore and beliefs. I feel they were really tuned in to God, but in their own way of course. And maybe the whole thing of living off the land and accomplishing everything in life by their own hand and relying so much on each other.

Well i don't label myself anything, but Christianity has a great deal of Paganism in it whether people deny it or not. Holidays like Christmas and Halloween(hallow meaning saint) came straight from the pagans in order to try unite the people of Rome under Constantine (who was not a christian until his deathbed). He literally locked up his religious informers in the Council of Nicaea to try and create a belief that was acceptable to all. Such as the trinity, God(who's picture mimicked Zeus) suddenly was the father of Jesus. Which is a very pagan belief that the early christians refused to accept and some endured physical torture because of it. So modern Christianity is filled with Pagan elements. Whether thats bad or good, you decide. I think its great that you found a religion your happy with. Congrats! There are many people out there like me who just don't know what to believe. So keep it up and if you feel paganistic thats completely normal considering christianities history. So if your happy thats all that matters.

Just continue feeling the spirit of love through Christ. Forget about the past and press on for the future. The devil is a LIAR and he sees that he has lost one of his and he will continue to talk to you through his spirit.
However, hold onto Jesus and let him talk to you instead and you'll be able to look back on the schemes of the devil and truly understand he is a liar.
I enjoy the life and sacrifice Jesus paid for me and just to love him in return, for nothing else compares to the promise he has given us.

I'm not sure precisely what you mean, but Paganism is not all bad. It takes people out of themselves. C. S. Lewis said that the pagan compared to the modern post-Christian is like the virgin compared to the divorcée. We are all who we are. Remember, that though we are new creations, we bring our old nature along with us. When Adam fell, he brought with him the imago Dei, the image of God. When we are born again, we bring not only the imago Dei but also our old nature (for sin and otherwise).

I still have atheist leanings from time to time. But then between God's grace and the logic He gave me, I starting thinking again and again can relax in God's love.

What do you mean by "Pagans roots?"

Do you mean that you sin sometimes still? Non one is perfect and if you are truly sorry, repent and change your ways.
