It depends. I have gotten mad enough at my husband that I may not talk to him for awhile. One may consider that punishment. But for the most part no. Depending on how close they are to me, I may tell them how they have hurt me.

if I was holy and just I would have no other choice than to punish somebody. Apologies are great, but they don't undo wrong. Somebody has to pay the price.

No, why would I punish anyone? I correct my students, but I never "punish" them. I don't believe punishment teaches anything.

No.

It's not my job, and it takes too much time and effort. I get away and stay away from harmful people, and let the fact that I 'vote with my feet' tell them that they are unacceptable.

I think the world would be a better place if more people did that.

No, not even if they haven't apologized to me.

Why should I? NO I DO NOT. Not even the person that caused me to spend two nights in jail. I will leave that for the One that says vengence is His, He will repay so why should I?

DEPEND ON CERTAIN CRITERIA.... punish does not mean REV ANGE but a process of learning for those who don't bother to learn and to understand.

I try not to, but its hard to say. Sometimes I do things that I think are subconsciously aimed at getting back at people for things they have done to me. When I catch myself I ask myself what is going on and try to put an end to it.

Just laugh it off. By punishing others you are reliving your own pain and intensifying it within yourself. By laughing you are neutralizing it.

no
I have learned that they do enough to themself without me adding to it
I have had some horrible things happen to me , and forgiven straight away
only for that person to carry more guilt because of my forgivness
in fact they wanted me to shout , yell ... even hit them
but it isnt me and thats not what I do
