Aside from the historical references of Josephus, there are the eyewitness testimonies of Matthew, Mark and John, and the Biography by Luke.

Cornelius Tacitus was a roman historian and governor of Asia in AD 112. In his annals, written after 64 AD, Tacitus referred to Nero's persecution of the Christians.

Suetonius, Roman historian, in his letters, the Lives of the 1st 12 Ceasars, write that Christians caused disturbances in Rome that led to them being banned in Rome. (circa 125 AD).Pliny the Younger, Lucian of Samosata, the Letter from Mara Bar Serapion,Thallus, Julius Africanus, and Phlegon all wrote of Christians, or Jesus the Christ.
