Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Wisdom is in the mind of the perceiver. But above all bs is bs no matter how it is packaged.

False is a strong word. There are Bibles that are only someone's story books like the Living Bible. There are deliberate mistranslations like a few places in King James Version like saying "Easter". There is one "translated" by a person that could not read Greek nor even knew the complete alphabet of Greek that is used by the JW religion. The Catholic Bible was translated from a faulty copy of the Bible. It does not match some found that are older than the one their Bible was translated from. Scholars think the older copies were more accurate, because they matched other older copies found.

The New World Translation. They claim it is a more accurate translation from the Hebrew and Greek, but indeed it is not. My limited studies on their changes proved to me that this is a false translation and they translators new little if anything of the old languages. Besides, it took less than 2 years of work with 2 people and an anonymous team to come up with a version which they made to express what they would not believe about Jesus, the 144 thousand and other of their mistaken doctrines.

It took a team of 15 people from several countries, several denominations, all of which were linquistic and Biblical scholars - each taking sections of scripture from the Greek and Hebrew, checking and rechecking and cross-checking - all to come up with the New International Version. I will not say it is the "best" version, but it is one of the better modern language translations.

Each version has it's problems with certain word interpretations and other minor discrepancies. But Jesus promised that His word would not be lost - and in all the versions I have read (besides NIV; KJV, NKJV, RSV, NEV, Amplified, NLT), Jesus' message, His words, His voice, still rings clear and accurately.

In this section it is so hard to tell if someone wants a real answer to there Q. But here goes. Unfortunately unless you can read ancient Arramaic or ancient Hebrew it is all subject to interpritation. The King James version is said to be off in some pretty important parts because it is translated from Greek which was interpretted from a more modern Hebrew.
Your best bet is to get a bible that was translated in the last 20 years from the orriginal languages.

Not that they were false but every Bible written before the latest modern English versions mistranslated scientific scripture God wrote into non scientific religious translations. A new discovery will bring this mistake to light and force mankind to re translate this scripture back into the scientific text God originally wrote it in. Changing The Bible back into a advanced science book.

The New World Translation.
The New World Translation is unique in one thing – it is the first intentional systematic effort at producing a complete version of the Bible that is edited and revised for the specific purpose of agreeing with a group's doctrine. The Jehovah’s Witnesses and Watchtower Society realized that their beliefs contradicted Scripture. So, rather than conforming their beliefs to Scripture, they altered Scripture to agree with their beliefs. The “New World Bible Translation Committee” went through the Bible and changed any Scripture that did not agree with Jehovah’s Witness’ theology.

The scriptures are valid (2 Tim. 3:16-17); it is the things added to them in a 'Bible' that divides Christianity in this country presently frequently.

The Mormon Bible-They believe that the black man is cursed.

If that were true, then that would mean that Jesus Christ was cursed, because he was indeed a black man

The Jehovah Witness Bible-They believe that only 144,000 are going to heaven, and that all religion besides theirs is false.

Some have things added or taken away..
The JW New World Translation has been changed, but still has a lot of the Bible in it.
The Catholic Bible has extra books added that are not part of the Bible.
There are translations and paraphrases and the two are totally different..
Some bibles that are called Bibles are a paraphrase. Someone has put it in a modern language as they think it should be example ( The Living Bible)
It will usually say what it is in the front..

The Catholic Church compiled the bible. That bible has 73 books, protestant bibles which came along much much later only have 66. And then there are different sects of protestants that have rewrote the bible to fit their beliefs(JW's) and other sects that have completely different bibles altogether(Mormons)

All of them. Why ? First off we are told that the Old Testament books were written in hebrew WHEN in fact we know that after the Babylonian captivity the hebrews did not speak hebrew but ARAMAIC like their captors. So from the Beginning we are MISLEAD. Then we are told that in the 4th century the Jewish scholars translated the hebrew into aramaic and Greek (Septuagint)

To top it all OFF we are told the New Testament books in manuscript are only available in the hebrew and greek languages WHEN in fact the Apostles and Jesus spoke and wrote ARAMAIC.

So, to be honest, ALL of these "biblical" accounts have MAN dipping his finger into the HOLY WORD so you know that it was to MAKE it to where it is acceptable by man and not God and all of them are FALSE.

To gain "truth" from them you have to discern it.
