In almost all religions the women are treated as objects of pleasure created by God for the comfort of men.Religions which claim that they accord equal treatment to women and men keep the women under cover. They allow men to have as many women as they want to have sex with and do not allow the same comfort of having as many men as they want at the same time .They command men to take the women folks of the enemies as trophies to be taken as wives and do not similarly permit their women to take the enemy men as the husbands of their women folk..In the heaven also their god gives dozens of young damsels with swelling breasts to each man for sex for eternity , but are denying the same comfort to each women believer, of having a dozen young men with sturdy organs for sex for eternity .No religion really treats men and women equally in all respects; .because religions were made by men for their own comfort .

atheists, how do you know god doesnt exist?

just cause there is no proof that doesnt mean its false. if you steal something from a store, and there arent any cameras around, there is no proof that you stole it, however that doesnt mean you didnt

and for you christians, how exactly do you know god does exist?

you could believe that the moon is made of cheese, and if you go there, bring back a piece and try to eat it, youll realize that it isnt so believing hard enough doesnt mean that you know

and if faith doesnt mean believing without proof then what does it mean?

Yes I am trying to kill two birds with one stone and you need to stop saying that you "know" god exists or not but rather that you "believe".

I know that I'll get 1 of 2 types of answers from Christians:
1) "Dingle Berry 6:66 clearly states that Christians are obligated to spell at least 3 words wrong in their paragraphs."
2) "We don't follow the Old Testament's morals (even-though it's in every bible). We only choose to follow the New Testament."

As an Atheist, I've never sat at home and thought, "Wow, since there is no God, I should go club some baby seals".
Just like Religion, morality is a learned behavior. People are capable of teaching dogs a limited form of morality.

Theists, are you telling me that with-out a belief in God you would become a pedophile, a murderer, or a prostitute because you couldn't self-govern your impulses?

How does the bible teach morality? Is it through…
1) Moses? No. He gave orders to kill male prisoners and older females; virgins were fair game.
2) Book of Judges? No! When a mob was about to rape a priest, the priest chose to let them use his daughter.

Very moral!

How do you feel now that you know?

"Any Muslim who believes in God with a sincere heart, who scrupulously abides by His verses and fears suffering in the Hereafter, will avoid harming even one other person. He knows that the Lord of Infinite Justice will suitably reward him for all his deeds. In one of the hadiths, our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) listed the kinds of people who are not pleasing to God:

"Those who act cruelly and unjustly in the sacred lands, those who yearn for the ways of the ignorant, and those who wrongly shed human blood." (Sahih Bukhari Hadith)

Terrorists, on the other hand, listen to their earthly desire for violence instead of their consciences, and can easily turn to all forms of wickedness. They become loveless, aggressive people who easily hurt others without the slightest pang of conscience. Having no fear of God, they do not know the morality of religion, nor do they practice it. Nothing can stop them from committing crimes.

I frequently hear Christians tell me that I made a choice to be an atheist, and a bad choice according to them. But now that I think about it, nobody really chooses to be an atheist (unless they were brought up by atheist parents, but that's different).

Consider this: most atheists disbelieve in god because of an overwhelming lack of evidence, and because of education and understanding our world and universe. In other words, it is the inevitable conclusion from available information, and no matter how much we want to believe in god, we cannot.

Sure, we can call ourselves Christians and pretend, but deep down, we can never really believe. It's as hard for me to believe in God as it is for you to believe in unicorns, or to disbelieve that 2 + 2 = 4. We simply cannot believe in God because our own common sense and rationality will not let us, no matter how much we would like to. So trying to convert us is futile and pointless.

A mystic is someone who attains spiritual union with God. Jesus always talked of his relationship with his Father. Paul talked about his vision of the Third Heaven, where he heard things 'unlawful to be spoken.' If mystical experiences were good enough for Jesus and Paul [not to mention Moses, Isaiah etc. remember Mount Sinai and Isaiah's vision of the train filling the temple], why aren't they good enough for many modern Christians? Nowadays the word mystical seems to be used as a synonym for 'deception' or 'error.' How did it get to this stage of legalistic formalism, without the divine spark of mysticism? Take away the soul of religion and all you get is a shell......

I am a Muslim and have no intentions of converting, but I was just wondering a few thing about your religion, again I am not going to convert...
How was Jesus God's son? If god created him, wouldn't we all be his sons and daughter, and Jesus won't be the only one?
If Jesus is God, and he is the son of God, can Christianity be considered a monotheistic religion, or is Jesus the son of himself?

God was here before anything was. He created every living thing. Paganism was made up by man and comes from satan. Yes its been around for years and years. But its what man made up to make up false gods to worship so that why they could sin all they wanted and thinking they will be ok. False gods are nothing but lies from satan. To keep people away from the only true living God Jesus Christ. For satan hates God and satan is like a lion ready to take all the souls to hell with him. satan will lie and fool people to get there souls. he cares for no one satan only hates. Jesus loves and love comes from Jesus. Christianity has nothing to do with paganism. For paganism has everything to do with satan. Religion has nothing to do with Jesus. Religion is all made up from satan and made up of false gods. Religion is what satan fooled man with to get him away from Jesus. So you see I tell the truth from God's word and not mine. Everything I say is the truth of God's word.

I am 16 and an atheist. All of my neighbors are active Christians and my mom told me not to tell them about it. As if its a dirty secret!! I don't think that them being Christian is a reason to think differently about them! So why should they care what I believe? Its like being Atheist means you've committed murder or something... Does anyone else agree with me??

People at funerals are so sad. I would think that people who believe that when they die they leave their physical bodies to go live with God would want to celebrate.

People celebrate birthdays, weddings, job promotions, graduations, holidays and so on, but on the one day it really counts, the most important day of someone's life, their last day, the day they meet their maker, who shares with them all the answers to the mysteries of life, and the day they receive everlasting life and eternal bliss, people grieve for them. What are those grieving people thinking? Shouldn't they be having a party to celebrate the dead's passing over?

According to Christianity, Humans are not supposed to judge others because it is God's job. Therefore, people who practise Christianity must assume that everyone is going to Heaven. So, why isn't death a joyous occasion for people who practise Christianity?

Why do some say this? Why, if a Muslim woman is home caring for her children and home, is it automatically assumed she's on welfare? I'm a stay at home mom. I'm a Muslim woman. And my family is not on welfare nor are we anywhere poor in any way, shape, or form. I can get anything I want at anytime, literally. And for most Muslim women, this is the same story. If we have a baby, our husbands buy us 22kt gold jewelry sets and spoil the mess out of us! If we have an accomplishment we get that and taken out to dinner. Muslim men are seen in such a bad light. The media and some examples on the news make it look like all Muslim men are this way. They're not. The RELIGION of Islam says this is how a man is supposed to treat women.

And for that verse that says "beat" in english, in arabic it means to leave the area as that word does the other 5 times it's used in the Quran in Arabic. The english translation is not reliable. The Prophet (saaws) never hit a woman.
