With the concept of free will theoretically in place, I don't see why I couldn't let loose once I get there. And God can't "know already" that I plan to do that, or else the concept of free will would be violated due to the fact that he knew my choices before I made them. That's not free will at all, if that's the case then there would have been no point in making someone just to send them to hell, knowing they wouldn't learn or change anything. So he couldn't know what we will choose.

Shoot... well, NOW I can't do that because I asked this question, and God will see this. But, that doesn't mean you can't do this. Good luck. Have fun sinning like crazy in heaven. Turn it upside down for me.

In my Bible study, I have come across this interesting passaage of Ezekiel...there are more passages related to it, apparently, but I will quote one of them here. What in your opinion does it refer to?
Thank you; I'm an Evangelical Christian.

Ezekiel 9:2
"And behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen with a writer's inkorn by his side, and they went in and stood beside the brasen altar. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up fro the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen which has the writer's inkhorn by his side, saying "go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof."
And further, 9:11

The bible has parts of history that are missing and does not go into detail.

They're allowed to practice the religions freely in our countries (mosques everywhere!!) but no -one's allowed to have a church or practice another religion in muslim countries.

They have to be the most intollerant/prehistoric religion there is!

I know that we have Jesus in common and few other things but I honestly do not understand where or why in the RC church there is a devotion to Mary.Is she considered a deity? Why is it that people pray to her and have a devotion to her. Why is the RC church not wholly and only devoted to Jesus Christ. Why do you have focus on Saints. It is hard for me to understand because we are all Christians but these devotions outside of devoting your life to Christ seem irrelevant and unnecessary from a protestant light. I am not at all saying you are wrong to do it I am just trying to understand why we are divided? I am truly sorry if the way I have worded this is offensive I honestly do not mean to be.

Time and again this word is in the title of questions. (PROOF)
It is something as mythical as God him/her self. There is not anything that can PROVE that god is not there. Why? because how do you prove (nothing)? any so called PROOF is only credited to the mystery that is "gods way" The illusion of proof is only seen in the eye of the beholder. What ever you believe is what you twist that PROOF to be. So I ask what do we have to determine dream from real? Our senses. sight, touch, smell, hearing, tasting. all of them in conjuction let us know we are awake. If there was a God he/she would know this. He/she would know that we need these sense to survive. why would he/she ask us to abandon them and believe in something that requires no PROOF from any of those senses? Yet time and again those who use our senses are called fools and those who do not, WISE? Can you handle the PROOF?

I believe that the Bible came from God. Man wrote it, but the revelation came directly from God, so the message has remained clear. It is His word. Agree?

Johann Tetzel, was a Dominican Friar 1489-1519, he was commisioned by the Pope (Alexander VI) to preach the Jubilee Indulgence (Disambiguation) in 1502 and this he did for most of his ecclesiastic career.
in 1513 Giovanni De' Medici was elected Pope (Leo X) he was quoted by Venetian writer as saying on the day of his election; "God has given us the Papacy. Now let us ENJOY it".
Leo was a very educated man and he was seen as a great scholar, but he was also very good at spending lavishly on himself and his followers. It was not long b4 he was in need of financial help, thus he called on Johann Tetzel, to bring home the bacon. Johann used the phrase; " As soon as the coin in the coffers rings, your resued soul to heaven springs" to gain monies from Kings and Princes throughout Christendom, abusing the Papal act of Indulgence. Luthers 95 theses on the subject of Papal Indulgences were the main foundation of modern Protestantism. Do you still see RC as the true religion?

The happiest person I know is an atheist who believes that an afterlife is entirely possible. He talks about Einstein proving that time is relative, Freud showing how the unconscious uses defence mechanisms to protect itself, and how we can live an entire lifetime in the blink of an eye when comatose. He says that at the moment of our death we could protect ourselves by creating a dream-world where we can continue to live out our lives while everyone else continues on without us. Could this be true? If it could then it's one of the best things I've heard in a long time and explains a lot.

Serious question, please no nasty comments to others, and no 'THAT WOULDN'T HAPPEN BECAUSE'. I would like to know your honest opinion, that one thing?

I know you will say it's God's will and they had a choice but do you really like the idea of people being tortured forever for choosing the wrong religion or not believing in a God.As an atheist I think some of you guys get a kick out of the whole sick concept.

I'd like to pray to a Patron Saint but do not know how to go about it. I know this is a weird question but how do you pray to One? I have the Novena prayer to the Saint I chose so I know that I have to recite that but after my prayer is answered ( I hope it is) I know you have to "thank" (not the right choice of words) the Saint. How do you go about doing that?
Thanks!

Please...this is really important to me so no snide remarks or nastiness is needed.

What is from the resurrection onwards, or was it after Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth and the life, noone comes to the father except through me', or was it after the gospels or Paul's letters had been written

There are apparently 101 obscure contradictions in the Bible. I've read the Bible and I expect to reply and help me understand. If there are that many contradictions in the Bible, then it is definitley not God's word. Or is it? It takes only one contradiction to affirm it's not God's word, cause in fact God is not stupid and wouldn't lie to his followers, or would he?
