IT'S EASY BUT STILL HARD.. IT'S LIKE your dad asking you to study when you donot feel like studying. you first say no then think for a while,... then you look at him. he's upset... you don't want to make him feel bad... after sometime you decide to study... the will of god is easy to know coz the bible is his word... manual to us.. in any situation the bible based answer to the question WHAT WOULD JESUS DO is god's will BUT the whole concept is do you follow it whole heartedly and whether you do it immediately.. as said in the example your dad will be pleased if you had obeyed him at his first word... so submit to God's will once you know it is... else you'll waste time....

No. Just look at the story of Jonah. He tried so hard to get away from the will of the Lord that he ended up in the belly of a big fish.
Submitting is probably one of the hardest things to do, since we naturally try to be independent and self sufficient. This are the things that make it hard to rely on God and have enough faith to take the relationship to the next level.

Sometimes it is a struggle. As humans, we like to think we know best. We like to choose our own paths, even when it may go against His will.
For me, personally, that is the hardest part of the Lord's prayer... THY will be done. I really have to work on that. I'm a mom and a woman, I can fix it all, that's my job. But, I have to continually remember to put things into God's hands and let Him have control over it. As much as I hate to admit it, it usually turns out better when He's in control! :) This has been something I've been really consiously working on this year, and wil probably continue to work on.

Of course not. Sometimes God has a tough plan for us, but as I heard many years ago, "God never puts a burden in one's shoulder heavier than what he/she can carries". If He gives me a too hard task to accomplish, it is because He knows better than me, that I can do it. Also, He never gives us something too hard for no reason.
Life is like a school. All the challenges and difficulties are lessons to be learned and tests to be done so that we can get to the next level. That's why I always say it is better to ask God understanding and strength to go on, than to ask Him to take our problems away. That's the key.
Peace!

Of course not, but it is always rewarding in a very personal way. His will is always for the best. We may not understand at the time, but when He impresses us to do something we don't really want to do, obedience always brings a surprising reward......after experiencing this a few times (letting Him prove He is right) obedience becomes easier and easier to do. It builds your trust in Him and He proves Himself over and over. When we aren't obedient to His will, we take a step backward and step out from under His umbrella of protection as His child. We're left on our own until we repent and come back to Him. As long as we are in this human body, we will strain against His perfect will from time to time. Submitting to His will is the way we become strong and mature in the Spirit.

It is easy but not for everyone. Only those who love God's will are easily able to adopt it as their own will and to do all it takes to make it true. So the key word is LOVE here too. Those who do it out of intellectual understanding - they will not always find it just as easy.

Normlly we never give in to the will of god. If there is any other option available we will try it. When nothing is possible we will resign to the will of god.
If you know the knack of giving in to god's will. It is very easy and nothing else is possible. But to give in for the first time is very difficult. It is like throwing someone who does'nt know swimming into water. He will make lot of noise and lot of struggle. But once used to the waters it must be the easiest thing to do.

I always found it easier to submit to the BRAD of the Lord. But I guess we just use our own names sometimes.
