Also does anyone really expect anyone else to actually discuss the entire context of evolution and all it encompasses in an answer here on YA?

Yes I should have added "attempt to debunk"

Creationists know the criticisms of evolution before they even know about the basic facts of evolution.

"We come from primordial goo"
"There is no transitional forms"
"Why isn't my grandpa a monkey"
"Why am I so ******* stupid"

Soon church won't be about Jesus' teachings anymore but more about trying to brainwash people to stop accepting all the scientifc evidence that contradicts the damn Bible. Generations of stupid children are being brought up in the US, just look at Jesus Camp.

People attempt to debunk evolution for the same reasons anything else is debunked. Is the premis solid? Is the evidence verifiable and accurate? Is the source credible? Is the conclusion supported by the evidence? Has counter-evidence been discarded? It is the nature of a reasoning being to evaluate. It probably all began when early man wondered if he should throw his spear, thus not having one in hand, or would it be best to hang onto it for upclose work?
The process implies that something is at risk, and that risk may be pertinent to either self or others or both.
The question can be interpreted as insulting or it can be seen as originating from an unenlightened source. Perhaps we should debunk that.

No, I don't debunk evolution for that reason. I don't believe in evolution because it's a flawed science. Mathematically, it is as near to impossible as can be. No I cannot discuss all my reasonings behind my belief here on this forum; however, it is not nice to assume that just because one has differing opinions that they have not done their research or are less intelligent.

You cannot debunk something that did not occur. Evolution is a theory that has not yet been proven, therefore, why waste time on debunking it. The problem with the theory is that a species can make minor changes within itself such as the snake does have internal hind legs which can be seen on an exray. However, there is no proof of any interspecies changes/ altererations/ etc. that has ever been determined.

You have to ask yourself, at what point does a fish breath air and how does a fish or aquatic mammal go from breathing thru water to breathing direct air. the lungs would have to dry up in a billionth of a second and that just aint possible.

Sorry, but both creationism and evolution are little more than theories. I do not believe in god and I have only read a tad into the evolution theory. No one really knows. And for those who claim it was "god", I think I will have a good laugh when it is proven that god does not exist and all the holy rollers commit mass suicide for living a lie.

It's quite obvious some have no understanding of either evolution or the definition of the word "theory" in scientific terms.

I've learned not to expect Evolutionists to pay enough attention to my answers to understand what I'm saying.
But if evolution CAN be debunked, as you state, why are you still defending it?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I am debunking evolution. I have never bought into the theory. There's too many possibilities of failure in evolution. God makes more sense in theory of intelligent design.

you can tell Catholic Crusador has no clue. "ooze morphing into a man"??? This guy has probably never stepped into a biology class. Whose point did he prove?

To answer your question: yes. most people who claim to not believe in evolution know hardly anything about it, and immediately pass it off as a "fairy tale" because it is just a theory. well, what is god? a scientific law or something??

just the opposite, notice the word theory of...the bible never had that title never will
we have theory of big bang, and evolution, mere man, always has and always will try to maintain a godhead, nevertheless, he will always be lower
there is no debunking, its a fact, mere man, has made a mess of things, but refuses still to take accountability toward his actions..now thats hiding behind debunk, and slam dunk!
