i don't know about the rhythm of the sea but i am drawn to it...i was born over looking the pacific ocean and never lived more than 15 minuets away from the pacific.
now that i live in nevada it seems that a peace of me is missing.
when ever i needed to be uplifted or needed time to think i would go to the ocean. it always calmed me. now i miss it dearly.

Yes. I live near the Pacific and the water is fantastic. The roar, the colors, the salty air... it is wonderful. It is FREEZING cold near here, so for a pilgrimage, I would for sure want to swim in it. Hawaii is intense and gorgeous, just avoid the tourist places.
I want to go on a sort of pilgrimage of my own with the family, and go to Costa Rica. Before I die, I want to swim naked in the oceans of Costa Rica, and in order to do this, my plan is to go out into the water in a one piece, then slip it off and sling it across my shoulders so only the dolphins get to see me!!
Ah... a girl can hope! But the trip is on the list of possibilities.

I live on the coast. The sea is my playground. The beach. All it has to offer. I love. I adore. I cherish. Why does the sea obey the shorline? Especially on days when weather is so angry? The oceans of the world, left to their own devices, could flood and destroy their land masses. They are held back by the word. Crazy. Wonderful. If you understand.

All the time. Probably because I was born near the ocean and often lived near beaches. I LOVE the sea, and presently live too far from it. My ashes I hope will be tossed into the Pacific.

Well you are invited!! I live only a few miles from a myriad of beaches with different features in orange county california..the beaches up north like Big Sur are foresty and misty and you can sometimes see Catalina from my house! My husband loves to take his boat there on the weekends..I would love for you to email me more about it if you want more info PC

Having spent the first 20 years of my life near the seas PLUS having spent more than 4 years ON the sea, the sea is one of the LAST things I want to be near. Heck it doesn't even turn off at night! Up and down, back and forth. Up and down, back and forth. Up and down, back and forth. *turning green* ... OOPS! Runs to the bathroom and violently tosses cookies.

I lived on a West Coast beach in a tent for a year. The Ocean is very noisy. The storms were amazing.
