There are so many flaws that I am just now starting to see in Christianity in general (not just Catholicism)...and in my own humble opinion, Islam is the only religion where the followers actually live the way the bible tells us to. What do you think about Islam? People who are going to say that Islam is about terrorism need not apply. I know plenty of Muslims and they are some of the most peaceful, non-hypocritical people I've come across.

This is apparently a messianic prophecy, but what was the meaning in the context of Israel before the exile?

.....how many times do we have to tell you....

God DID create a place where bad things never happen to good people.

It's called HEAVEN.

And now, it's your choice. Will you trust Him?

I think it is going too far for Christians and Muslims, for example, to ask we respect their religion when we do not believe it ourselves. But I agree that we must have respect for their right to believe what they will. This does not, however, imply a belief that they have the right to commit criminal acts in the name of their religion.

What's your take on all this?

It is always interesting to hear from you what experiences you have had and so many times others ask these questions and from Zondervan today it answered thus: Revelation is the only absolutely trustworthy guide to the future that we have. Futurologists may speculate about the future and prophets may claim to see certain events in the future and we may all dream about (or dread) the future at times, but God has given us a totally reliable guide that we can trust with absolute confidence. We may not understand every detail, but we know that, in the end, God wins.

With all the facts and evidents to support it, carbondating, fossil records, bone structure comparing, DNAcomparing, law of variation, law of adaptation, other forms of radioacting dating, and much more; it is unlogical not to believe in evolution.

Also

Why is it that many Christians believe in 7 day creation, 6000 yr-old earth, gaints, humans and dinouares living together, people walking on water and talking animals.
These stem from the bible and is the only thing they have to back them up. and your faith which is not fact.

Primarily because I'm an atheistic Jewish (culturally, not religiously) and secondarily because I never heard of an evangelical Jew. They believe what they believe but don't try to impose their beliefs on others.... and did you know that a large number of Jews (perhaps a majority) are atheist? SHOCKED???!!!!

How did humanity achieve its current level of genetic diversity? As a matter of fact, humanity was extremely diverse at about 1 AD. How did we become so genetically divergent in just 2400 years? Did god allow for mutation and natural selection for humanity for this short period of time? Why have we not become more diverse over the last 2000 years? Why are we not seeing the same high levels of mutation today?

The tradition of receiving gifts on each of the eight days of Chanukah (one of various spellings) is relatively new and due in part to the celebration's proximity to the Christmas season.

WHY..... So Many... SILLY Questions.... about GOD.. and the Bible?

Each of us... has gone to School [ or are Still in School ] .... and have been Exposed to Many Facts...!

Some have taken what we are Taught... At Face Value...!

Others... have questioned "what has been Taught" and found that "A Politically Correct.... [ Really Incorrect ].... AGENDA".... has... Biased.... What .... "Was Taught US... WITH ERROR!"

I see Many.... Silly Questions... "HERE"..... from those that...."HAVE... 'NEVER'.... Read the Bible !"

Have YOU.... ever read the Bible.... for Yourself? IF not... there is an article on my Blog / 360... " How to Study the Bible "

"IF....?" You are Really Seeking GOD.... then You ask Serious Questions.....

"IF YOU ARE NOT...." Then Your Questions... will be Disguised in .... "MOCKINGS !"

Could.... that be.... WHY.... there are So Many.... SILLY Questions.... about GOD... and the Bible?

Thanks, RR

........have you EVER had thoughts of "Am I going to hell when I die?"Especially when you lie in bed at night and listen to your heart beat?
I had thoughts like that, even when I flipped my car one day.I thought,"If I died, would I end up in hell?"
If hell does NOT exsist, why do people have thoughts like that?

would you say it's true primarily/basically because of the evidence (science and logic) or because of your faith?

Suppose there is a man,Mr.Steward, an educated person from an international company. he came to Lewis family, where Mrs.Lewis, NORMA opened the door. Mr.Steward introduced himself and gave an offer of $50,000. he gave a box to Norma & said if u push the button,"somewhere in the world someone you don't know will die. In return you will receive a payment of $50,000". Norma doesn't believe for one second that it could be her own husband.Another feature of Norma is that she only think about herself, others life is of no importance to her.
