(although I can't find a single example of this)
would you say it's true primarily/basically because of the evidence (science and logic) or because of your faith?

Give me evidence and let me decide. I think, though, that it's not too hard to find things on which faith and science agree, especially if you define science to include social science and psychology. "Honor thy father and thy mother" is just good sense. The Golden Rule is golden because it works: respect others as you would have them respect you. One of my best friends is a born-again Christian and I am an agnostic leaning toward atheism. Neither of us attempts to convert the other, and we both gain as a result.

True science and faith do not conflict. (Some people's opinion of scientific 'evidence' may not be 'true science'. The same can be said about some opinion of scripture; more precisely the dividing of it (2 Tim. 2:15); if one can 'rightly divide' the word of God, can thay also 'wrongly divide' it)?

SCIENCE IS MORE OF AN EXACT STUDY,THAN RELIGION. SCIENCE IS CONSTANTLY PROVING MORE AND MORE AND MORE WHEREAS RELIGION DWELLS IN THE OLD PAST USING INSPIRATIONAL WRITINGS BY PEOPLE WHO WERE SUPPOSEDLY INSPIRED BY AN EXTERNAL FORCE. SCIENCE GOES BACK BILLIONS OF YEARS AS OPPOSED TO 2000 YEARS FOR EXAMPLE.. RELIGION EXISTS , I BELIEVE, BECAUSE PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT DESTINY PRIMARILY. WE DIDNT WORRY TO GET HERE SO WHY WORRY WHEN ITS TIME TO DEPART HERE. IF YOUR ALRIGHT HERE YOULL BE ALRIGHT THERE !! I PROMISE !!

Faith and science don't disagree on anything. Doctrine and science often disagree.
