The current theory seems to be that time isn't linear, but that we merely perceive it as linear.

From a Biblical point of view, God created time, because God existed before time. God created time for the benefit of mankind with seasons in which to plant and harvest; daylight in which to work and nighttime in which to sleep. When the days of mankind are over, so will end the need for time...then we walk into eternal life; for those redeemed by Christ, eternal life in heaven; for those that reject Christ, eternal life in Hell. There will be no need for time in eternity; I have heard it compared to this: A bird carries a grain of sand from the West Coast to the East Coast; when all the sand is gone from the West Coast, eternity will have but begun. Even after the end of time, God will still be God. I hope this helped. Chris

1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources

2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others

3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources

4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits

Time was created the same as everything else. It is limited though. Why not study God's word rather than show your ignorance off.

I'd say effect. Something we feel as the fabric of the matter around us slowly unwinds, and we unwind with it.
