WHY..... So Many... SILLY Questions.... about GOD.. and the Bible?

Each of us... has gone to School [ or are Still in School ] .... and have been Exposed to Many Facts...!

Some have taken what we are Taught... At Face Value...!

Others... have questioned "what has been Taught" and found that "A Politically Correct.... [ Really Incorrect ].... AGENDA".... has... Biased.... What .... "Was Taught US... WITH ERROR!"

I see Many.... Silly Questions... "HERE"..... from those that...."HAVE... 'NEVER'.... Read the Bible !"

Have YOU.... ever read the Bible.... for Yourself? IF not... there is an article on my Blog / 360... " How to Study the Bible "

"IF....?" You are Really Seeking GOD.... then You ask Serious Questions.....

"IF YOU ARE NOT...." Then Your Questions... will be Disguised in .... "MOCKINGS !"

Could.... that be.... WHY.... there are So Many.... SILLY Questions.... about GOD... and the Bible?

Thanks, RR

I think you are right. If you are really interested, you ask serious questions. The ones that are not interested, only play.
Pitiful.

It doesn't say in the Bible. The Bible doesn't talk about what they were unaware of in the early iron age in the middle east. Dinosaurs are only part of it. They also didn't know about the New World. It's not in the Bible, and yet the New World is real. It's where I keep all my stuff. Now they may have found dinosaur bones and imagined them to be the remains of dragons or giants or other monsters, and wrote about those imagined monsters in the Bible. The Minoans probably imagined griffins after finding a protoceretops skull, and put that in their myths. That easily could have happened in the ancient near east as well. The virile hippopotamus in Job 40 is not a dinosaur.

Um...well, I've went to school (Senior year!! WOOT) I have also read the Bible cover-to-cover, and it just didn't click with me...no spiritual revelations, just another book I read..no God, no Jesus, no nothing touched me....so I guess that automatically disproves your point you are trying to make? And have you ever went to school? Especially literacy class, where you learn on how to write proper sentences (which you are not right now, this is making me think William Shatner is typing this...) Why is there so many silly questions regarding Atheism and Evolution? We've all been in school, and been exposed to many facts...Christians take a 2000 year old book for face value as well...so it works both ways my Kirk-wannabe friend....hope I helped some...

Hatred toward Christians from unbelievers is normal. Do not forget our Lord was beaten and crucified by people confessing to know the Bible. They knew so little of the Word of God that they didn't even recognize the God of the Bible. These were the so-called believers much less the unbelievers. Christ came to set up a kingdom and for over 2000 years His kingdom has increased.

Yes, I have read the bible through many times and questioned everything. I have questions today and probably in the future and their are no silly questions. Just people who do not know the answers to the questions who think they are silly.

After reading the bible several times, committing many portions of it to memory, and having a decent lay background in archeology, paleontology and geology I asked this question:

Understand, I'm not looking for supporting evidence per say, Just an explination of why things that should have impacted many societies have little or no evidence of happening.

What may seem "silly" or "trivial" to you maybe a serious question to another. Yes people mock and make fun of the bible ... as a christian why point that out. Why not use that time to EDUCATE them to a Scripture ... yet there you set, almost making fun of people and telling them how WRONG they are ...

All I can say to you is ... CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIAN ... Don't throw stones, unless you can play catch!

Just one more ... SILLY ... question. Do you study the Hebrew BIBLE in Hebrew? How could you possibly understand the meaning of the Hebrew words after translation into Greek, Latin, and English or German or Spanish or Russian or...?

Why... do you... like periods so much?

And yes, I do mock irrationality and silliness. If someone came to me in all seriousness and told me that if I did not believe in Santa Clause I would get no presents on Christmas, I would mock the hell out of them. If they tried to hijack the US government with their Santa Clause ideology, and enforce pro-Santa laws, I would try my hardest to discredit them for the good of the nation I love so much. Now go get back into your bronze age cave and leave us alone.

No need to speak so slowly, I'm not deaf or stupid. I don't take anything at face value, especially the bible. The way you write makes me think you are sending a coded message to someone.
