There is a saying - As you sow, so shall you reap. A man is supposed to have the good or bad results for the right and wrong deeds done by him.

I have known a man for the last 14 years, who always keeps insulting others. He abuses and harasses others for none of their fault but I have not seen any bad results on him. He and his family is flourishing.

Could you explain the reason behind it? Are some persons exceptions to the universal rule of deeds and results? How would you explain it?

If man can be created from dirt, and a woman created from his rib...then why can't a jolly old fat man go around the world in one night delivering toys to all the kids who celebrate christmas?

I just don't get how you can read the story of Adam and Eve and not have one OUNCE of incredulity? I understand faith and all...but isn't that pushing it? Cause I mean...to take a few science courses...doesn't that kind of put that 'hmmm, can that be true?' in your mind?

I'm a self proclaimed religious guy......if I offer to sell Moksha for $47.88 and Nirvana for $51.23 (this is essentially taking the fast track....you would attain Moksha or Nirvana in 3 days guaranteed and get a printout certificate that you can use to discourage non-believers) would this be a reasonable price? (I'd also offer package deals) This would be great for all the people still stuck in samsara or tired of doing yoga.

And there should be no ban on implanting such hybrid embryos in the womb of the woman who supplied the original egg, they say in their submission on the Draft Tissue and Embryos Bill.

“Such a woman is the genetic mother, or partial mother, of the embryo; should she have a change of heart and wish to carry her child to term, she should not be prevented from doing so,” the bishops say.

Does any one here actually worship the devil/Satan/Lucifer? I am honestly curious and would like to talk with some one who can explain it to me a bit more.

Note*
I do not want to "convert". I have my own beliefs that involve neither God nor Lucifer, I am just curious.

Is there anybody out there who can empirically prove a deity of some sort? And no, a holy book that says it is divinely inspired does not count. I'm talking about something that can only be explained by some sort of supernatural power.

I saw an old man yesterday standing under a bridge in the bright sunlight. I was biking by him on a bike trail and he was looking in the direction I was coming from. He didn't acknowledge me even though I passed him within a couple yards. He just stood there, and it felt like he wasn't even from our time. He almost looked like a scarecrow, the wind just barely moving his clothing. It's the only way he showed physical presence. I looked down towards his feet and all I saw was grass and the bridge behind him. He didn't have any feet or legs below his knees, but he was standing there suspended in mid air. It scared me so bad I could feel chills and I started riding harder (even though I felt no evil) and I rode for about five miles before I could stop and relax. If that was some kind of subliminal message, could it have been meant for someone else?

to rephrase it for Christians:
To set aside the Fact that Jesus is the Son of God, if he was just a mere human being... what made him so special and different from us all?

My entire family is Christian; I am the only atheist, so it's kind of hard for me NOT to celebrate Christmas. I don't celebrate it as the birth of Christ or even its Pagan origins; I just celebrate it as a time to come together with all my mainland family. What about you?

When taking the Eucharist, what is the proper thing to do? Just for references for myself. I have no interest in becoming a Christian, however, I may be attending a Eucharist Liturgy for my grandmother's passing.
