I saw an old man yesterday standing under a bridge in the bright sunlight. I was biking by him on a bike trail and he was looking in the direction I was coming from. He didn't acknowledge me even though I passed him within a couple yards. He just stood there, and it felt like he wasn't even from our time. He almost looked like a scarecrow, the wind just barely moving his clothing. It's the only way he showed physical presence. I looked down towards his feet and all I saw was grass and the bridge behind him. He didn't have any feet or legs below his knees, but he was standing there suspended in mid air. It scared me so bad I could feel chills and I started riding harder (even though I felt no evil) and I rode for about five miles before I could stop and relax. If that was some kind of subliminal message, could it have been meant for someone else?

We can attend to angels being unaware of it,The holy spirit is telling me that was what you saw,demons can take on human form to,but this was not a demon,you have a guardian angel over you.

If you really saw this then God granted you a rare vision into the spiritual side of this world, I have been very fortunate myself to see into that world a couple of times, the scene is scary but as you say you werenot scared. It could have been meant for you or someone else who knows. I take it you are a christian though, if not than then this was a definite sign to you. Because if God lets you see something like that and you are not a believer in his son Jesus Christ it could be a sign warning you of something coming down the road, maybe that road you were on, If you have anymore comments I would definitely like to hear them, send me an email, May God Bless!!!!

Probably just a lonely spirit that wished he was alive again. If you didn't feel malice, he probably meant no harm. A lot of times they're just like us-- except you know...not physical.
And if you ask on here, ALL the fundies will say spirits are demons. They keep calling my spirits demons :)

Anything is possible. I saw a glance of weird spirit for 0.5 sec last night, damn freak me out.

hmmmm! that is really scary, but if something like that happens again, just say in Jesus name. Cuz everytime I dream something scary or bad when I say in Jesus name , I would wake up instantly!

Evil angels do mess with people. It is possible. But you do need to realize the likelihood that it was simply an optical illusion that played on your imagination.
