I'm interested in what the other religions and beliefs
( or lack thereof ) think The Lord Buddha, was all about.

Yes...
The Lord Buddha was an atheist, or at least an agnostic.

*Sigh* I see a lot of misconceptions running about.
If you only cared to read a little into the life of Siddhartha Gautama you would know that some of the things you are saying are completely false.
( Like that he was fat! )

P.S. The Lord Buddha is every right a lord, don't you know history?

My understanding of the Buddha is that it refers to an enlightened or fully awakened person that has experienced Nirvana.

The most famous and well known would probably be Siddhartha Gautama, but Buddhists do not consider him to have been the only Buddha.

Buddha, founder of Buddhism. He was born Siddhartha Gautama, son of the raja of Kapilavastu, India, near Nepal. At the age of 29, confronting human misery for the 1st time, he set out to find the path to peace and serenity. He left his wife and children to pursue this quest. For 6yrs he studied under Brahman teachers, living as a hermit. Enlightenment came to him while seated under a bodhi or pipal tree. thereafter he preached and gathered disciples as Buddha ("The Enlightened One"). in the 6th century B.C.His 1st disciples became the Sangha, or original Buddhist monastic order, men ( and later women) who gave up home and family, shaved their heads, dressed in rags, and devoted their lives to practicing and spreading his philosphy of Enlightenment.

The Buddha is not a "lord". The Buddha never once claimed divinity.

And to the lady under me, you're saying that Gautama Buddha never existed? Wow.

And now to "PREACHER'S WIFE", So you're saying people like Gautama Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi are in hell? But someone like Ted Bundy, who accepted Jesus before his death, is in heaven? Again, wow. Some people.

There is no such person, it was man made and hearsay spreads faster than goodness has a chance to put its pants on.

There is no such thing and is one of the only sins that The Lord All Mighty Allah SWT will never forgive and its written.

He was raised in opulence and ignorant of the suffering in the world. When he went out in the world he was stunned to see the misery. He wondered why so much suffering exists. He left his home in Tibet and journeyed to India seeking answers. Much of Buddhism is based on older philosophies he learned there. It is said that it all came to him, (truth or enlightenment,) when he sat under a tree all night meditating.

Buddha was about answers to why people suffer and what they can do to end it.

A dead false prophet. There are a lot of those. The only TRUE LORD, JESUS CHRIST is ALIVE. We worship a LIVING GOD! Not a bald, fat statue of some dead guy.
