Just think: at any moment the city could be torn apart by a massive earthquake due to the location of the San Andreas fault. Hundreds of thousands of people could be killed instantly.

If such an event would occur, would christians take the time to criticize the stereotypical view of the "immoral" behavior (gays, lesbianism, etc) that was seen there and that's the reason "God punished them" in a sense?

I always felt it was a little unfair that the father treated the prodigal son so well but neglected the loyal son. If we think that Jesus was trying to emphasise God's joy when we turn from iniquity and repent, couldn't he have done it otherwise? He didn't need to refer to the other brother at all. Why not have one son who ran away and returned?

Do you think jesus was refering to something more by having the other son complain about not being favoured?

I was told you can see proof there is a god just by looking around you at the world he created for us. There is another explanation however that it "just is". If I break a finger nail is that satan trying to take me down? IF I enjoy ice cream could that have only came from heaven and if I order too much and get a tummy ache is that satan again and if I take an alka seltser is that a divine miracle to cure us and if the expiration date is past a few years and I get e-coli food poisoning is that satan again trying to drag me to the depths of hell and if I see a doctor is he a saint doing god's work and if he flunked medical school and has a fake diploma is that one of satans demons entering this world?

Ya know i am feeling very christian right about now

When someone asks a question with the word Catholic in it, there is always one or two answers about Priests and Altar Servers.

According to a survey by the Washington Post, over the last four decades, less than 1.5 percent of the estimated 60,000 or more men who have served in the Catholic clergy have been accused of child sexual abuse.[iv] According to a survey by the New York Times, 1.8 percent of all priests ordained from 1950 to 2001 have been accused of child sexual abuse.[v] Thomas Kane, author of Priests are People Too, estimates that between 1 and 1.5 percent of priests have had charges made against them.[vi] Of contemporary priests, the Associated Press found that approximately two-thirds of 1 percent of priests have charges pending against them.[vii] (see link below)

Please do not judge all Priests. many are innocent so why blame them all?

Also just "where" do female suicide bombers go after their DEATH? What would be THEIR reward? Where do they GET all the virgins in heaven? And where do all the thousands & thousands of "despoiled virgins" ( who are in heaven just to service the male suicide bombers ) GO TO when the male suicide bombers have "had their way" with them? ( I think that if they are despoiled by a man who is not their husband WHEN THEY ARE ALIVE - they get stoned to death.) Does this mean that each man can have 30 wives when they go to heaven - or - are the despoiled women just expelled from heaven for having sex? ( NB - I am asuming that when a virgin has sex the very first time - then they are NO LONGER CONSIDERED A VIRGIN. ) And how do they know that this really is true, anyway????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

why does christian made rude remarks like calling atheist like to reject god because they love to sin and like to being gay

also rude remarks such as they are immature , blinded by demon , stupid , ignorant and the list goes on.

yeah sure you would say atheist are doing teh same thing. but then again atheist are only bound by law . whereas christians are to follow the bible and the law , but yet there are some who act as a total jerk and insenstive and yet they claim to be true follower.

what should i do to this people?

Why do we have to respect other peoples beliefs if they're stupid? If someone says "i believe that the Martians are invading" you can rightly rip them a new one, but if someone says that the earth is 6000 years old you have to respect that. It seems like we aren't allowed to hold religious beliefs to the same standard we hold everything else to, no?

I think it would be a good idea to have a trinity version of our own......The Flying Spaghetti Monster(father) the Walking Spaghetti Monster(holy spirit) and the Swimming Spaghetti Monster(son)

Not only that, we should encourage others to learn more about "polyatheism" and their "polyatheistic gods":

Russell's teapot, Invisible Pink Unicorn and Yahooweh(Y!HWH for short)

I know, that I know very little, because of my inability to predict outcomes with 100% certainty. Therefore, I have reached the conclusion, that my conclusions, aside from the very basic(whether or not I exist..."I think therefore I am."), have a chance of being proven wrong.

Do you feel the same way? Why or why not?

Why do you reject Islam? Think about it for a minute. Why do you reject the faith itself?

Now, why do you think the Qu'ran isn't the perfect word of god? For what reasons do you find this book less than perfect?

Thank you!

I just finished a Science fiction story, and It posed an interesting question for the hero, and I wondered what you R&Sers would do... So without further adeiu.

Okay let us assume that there IS a "god" of sorts, with Omni-escent knowledge and all, and say you were given a choice:

A) Merge with God Themself, thereby solving all conflict regarding indiviuality, and have infinate knowledge, or

B) Reject, stay on earth and become your own person.

I'm curious. :)

Oh, and a thumbs up to whomever names the work that I finished (Also include an answer please)
