that's what i tell my kids. be it catholic, muslim, etc., it is just one and the same God just adjusted to each one's culture. if only we could all look at it this way, then maybe the world wouldn't be in such turmoil.

Yes, of course every one is aware of this. Here it is not just a count of one or number one. It is a Unique intelligent source and it has to be a single entity. If there are multiple then arises a question which is first. That first will be the real and true Almighty God. We have some questions like whether chicken came fisrt or egg came first. When we assume multiple Gods this kind of confusion arises. This kind of question arises because man tends to limit God with his ownself. When we say we are seeing something and God is seeing something, both has got lot of difference. To be more clear let me explain with a real time example. Today we have Special Camera called Thermal Camera which works on the principle of Thermal Imaging. It means it sees only the Temperature variation and converts that into electric which is converted to light and shown for man in a computer screen. Before 50 years man would have never imagined the concept of seeing a picture through temperature variation. For man seeing means light and that too light within a short wavelenght of 400-700 nanometer only. Likewise if we go into the scientific details available today in all field we will conclude and accept that there is God and it is unique single entity only.

Yes much like thre is one humanity and you a nd I are different entities .If people realize that ther eis oine god why should they seek to convert people to any religions by inducements and threats and why should people abuse any faith as demonic ones ? the only religion tha considers that there is really one God is Hinduism alone ibn the entire Universe and that it why it is tolerant to everyfaith and has no hatred and enmity.even to all those that hate others and firmly believe that theire religions is based on hatred to other faiths .. the very foundation of the orehrreligions is harted and hatred only to all other religons whethre monotheistic or polytheistic .
Will the questioiner say which are the religions that consider Rama , Krsihna ,Allah and Christ alke and which are the people who will worship all hese four .I challenge that not single Chrsitian and not a single Muslim can e shown as one worshipping all these four .I will produice thousands of Hindus worshipping all these four ,Just go to vellankanni temple of Mary and see how many Hindus pilgrims are there .Go to Nagapattinam Durga ands see how manhy hindu pilgrims ar ethere .Go to the Durga opposite to the \Bhuhari hotel in Anna Salai and see how many hindus worship there.Show mne one christian or one Hindu in any hiondu temple in th ewhoile of ainida or in the US too.
the only religins that knows that god id omni present is the oldest Hindu religons alone .that is the uniques scientific philosophy of the Hindu religion.

Almighty GOD is ONE, call HIM by any name. But it should be a Beautiful one WITHOUT any Mental picture.

What we say that there is ONE GOD means HE is the same GOD for Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Athiests, Buddhists and all mankind.

Because GOD is ONE and for all mankind.

Therefore, if you say ALLAH, ELI, ELIAH, BRAHMA, all refer to GOD. We can best understand this from the Hindu Scripture example.

Hindus say GOD is Brahma. Which if translated into English means 'The Creator' and if translated into Arabic means 'Khaliq'

Therefore if you call Almighty GOD as 'The Creator' OR 'Khaliq' OR 'Brahma' it is ONE and the SAME.

BUT...

The trouble arises when the Hindus ascribe features to GOD that are NOT worthy for GOD. For example, they say Brahma is the GOD who has 10 heads, so and so hands, etc...

And this goes against the fundamentals of Islam, Judaism and Christianity (As per the Gospel of Barnabas) and even True Hinduism itself (Vedas are against this)...

Therefore, All religions speak about Monotheism BUT the True essence of Monotheism has now remained in Islam only as...

1. The Church has fabricated the Trinity and mis-lead the Chirstians from the True message of Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him)

2. The Hindus do NOT read the Vedas and practice Idol worship which is against their own scriptures.

Yes I do aware that God is only one that Allah.Allah is not Christ and also not Krishna and not Rama.Allah does not divide humans into caste.All humans are the same in the eyes of Allah.The difference lies only on their faith and their doings.Krishna and Rama are the names of puppets in Mahabarata.Rama and Krishna made human and they are not Allah the only one God..We muslims do not pray and worship to idols or statues which are made by human.We worship only to the one Allah no other God than Allah..Allah is the greatest creator,regulator and protector of this universe with its contents...Allah who has the power to make us alive and dead.Allah who gives us livelihood and decides our fates

I agree with you for the most part in that God has many names. I just don't completely agree with your list. As I don't know enough regarding these other religions, I only contest the name Christ. I don't think He is the same as God. I do however agree entirely with your first statement. It seems to be a hard idea for most to understand, or agree with.

I half agree with you, there is only one God but allah, rama, krishna are not His Name.Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

I shall comment on this based on Indian mythology.
God is one & no doubt about it. Different names, different faces are all symbolic of different virtues. Just as a man is, simultaneously a son, a brother , a husband, a father, a friend to some one, God is perceived as per different virtues one perceives. A soldier will think of him as a powerful person, a mother shall look upon God as a son and so on...
Miraculous stories of God depicts his virtues but unfortunately, we remember the story & forget the virtue. Over a period of time, the story remains as the main course. This is the reason of heavy arguements for/against God.
