Yes, you may. However, you first have to understand what freedom of religion entails. All it means is, you will not be deprived of life, liberty, or property merely for worshipping Satan. HOWEVER, "freedom of religion" does not mean any of the following:

1. It does NOT mean you can use your religion as a blanket defense for breaking laws enacted for public health and welfare. You can't slaughter chickens in your back yard, make human sacrifice, rape children -- then say "oh, it's my religion" and expect to get away with it. Whatever your religion, you still have an obligation to obey the law.

2. It does NOT mean that you can decorate your work space with Satanic paraphernalia and still keep your job. Lest we forget, the employer (even a governmental employer) has rights too, and when it comes to the appearance of the workplace, your employer's rights trump yours. You have a right to practice your religion, but you don't have the right to a job. Consequently, maintaining a certain decorum is a condition of your employment -- but you are always free to quit and practice your religion while unemployed.

3. It does NOT mean have a right to other people's endorsement and approval. You have the First Amendment right to be a Satanist. Your neighbors have THEIR first Amendment right to tell you that you suck. They cannot physically attack you or your property, but as far as words, they can say pretty much anything they want.

The church of Satan opened up in the 1960's in San Francrisco. They hold regular services and recruit strongly in the military which actually has a satanic chapel. You , as an American have the right to do so if other religions are allowed to do so in your workplace. But just so ya know.... A lot of people have gone to Hell for "standing up for their rights to do wrong"

You won't get arrested for it although the reactions of people around you will depend on exactly what part of the country you're in. If you walk down the street in the heart of New York City shouting "Hail Satan!" nobody is likely to notice, or care. But do it in some rural conservative bumbleshmuck town in North Carolina, and people might think you're a child molester/communist/heathen what-have-you and promptly go get their shotguns.

I am a Christian, you don't need my say so.
If you're asking, ask your Mama. Otherwise practise all night long it is a free country, just don't wake the neighbors or eat them either. We don't take kindly to that here in the USA.

Yes, and I think you mean Goth when you say worship Satan.
Freedom of religion means you can worhip or have beliefs in anything you want, so if you would like to worship satan, you are more than free than to do so.

As long as your worship doesn't infringe on anothers rights have at it..

Check the exact laws before putting up posters etc. so you have a legal leg to stand on if people protest...

Im Christian, but i dont mind, to each their own. Maybe you could teach me about Satanism because i just like learning about other beliefs, not that im wanting to change my beliefs but i just like learning about what other people believe in.

Of course. You may worship whomever you like.

Keep in mind that though you may worship, you may not infringe. You could lose a job by it.

And ignore Andy D-- "Goth" is a fashion, it doesn't mean you worship Satan.

Tsk, Tsk....at home is one thing, but, as soon as you make others feel uncomfortable at work, you can kiss that job good-bye. And, forget about suing....the money you'd sue for says right on it, "In God We Trust". Lol.
