You're correct that it will not be "pre"-marital sex. But it is sex outside marriage, so it should be called "extra-marital" sex.

Anyway, in my opinion, one should not give his or her last word on never wanting to get married. For 20 years I said I will never marry and that marriage is not for me, but I ate my words. I'm 40 and getting married soon.

Yeah I suggested the same thing once that the ban on pre-marital sex presumes the occurrence of marriage and I got my usual enough thumbs down to kill a gladiator response
The negative aspect of no sex of any kind before marriage including sex with ones self is that out of biological necessity it forces people to get married in order to have sex and that has got to be one of the top three worst reasons to ever get married.

Well marriage is man made anyway, and its only a piece of paper.

More people are now opting for a single life, as more people want to keep their independence, and are more interested in their career etc. This includes both male and female. Marriage is on the decline (well in Britain anyway).

There's nothing wrong with having sex without commitment providing both parties agree and use precautions. It can sometimes lead to more though in terms of a regular sort of commitment but without marriage, which is fine as you still both retain independence.

But you don't know 100% that you won't get married. You just CAN'T. So it is still pre-marital, but that's totally fine with me!! I truly believe couples should live together for a year before getting married. There are too many divorces!! Great question! It deserves a star! :)

I'm 37 never married and don't want to be and I've had lots of sex. I'm not sorry for doing it but there are people I regret sleeping with. Not because they did anything wrong or turned in jerks but because it meant nothing to me. Once you start having sex, it becomes not such a big deal. Keep that in mind and don't just sleep w/anyone because it should mean something. Plus when you are in high school there is enough stress w/o adding too it.

Hi,
yeah,
even if you dont ever want to get married..as the bible says I suppose it would still be considered pre marital sex..because none of us are suppose to even have sex unless were married in the first place....does that make sense? whoa!

The fact that you choose to not get married does not change the definition of "pre-marital." It still means "before marriage."

It's always pre-marital sex regardless. And after you are married it's called adultery or pre-divorce sex.
