I don't deny that the first human beings may have only been 2 of them or more, who knows but if there were 2 to begin with how can anyone prove their names were Adam and Eve when no one was around at the time?. I mean I wouldn't know for the life of me who the names of my ancestors from the 1500's, so how can you be sure these 2 people were Adam and Eve?, how do you know it wasn't Tom and Sue or John and Sarah?, who knows?

I posted this question earlier and the answers I got were very thought provoking. I want to hear more answers though. Please tell me what you think....

I am a Christian (Church of Christ) and I have struggled with this question for years. Each religion (Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, etc) think that their religion is the "correct" religion. Do they think that everyone else is going to hell if they don't share in their beliefs? I mean, I try to follow what the Bible says to a T and when I slip up, I ask for forgiveness. But these other religions are trying to do the same thing. Does this mean that they are going to hell in the end because they are not sharing my same beliefs? I would like to think that if we all try to do our best we will share a home in Heaven. What do you think?

Lets face it that nasty little hateful tribe in the dessert invented it, a group of hippies built on the idea and the bearded one perfected the idea. enter the third person invisible who sits in the corner like a troublesome mother-in-law dividing people creating divisions where none existed. demanding that the calender be wound back to zero 2007 years ago, good grief! No because once you stop treating the person in front of you as number one and differ to a greater power you have permission to do anything. that's why the OT was started to give the hillside tribes permission to slaughter the local population. So the whole purpose of Monotheism is to legalise atrocity. Didn't you know that?

A friend of mine passed away Friday night. She had three grown daughters, one of which, is also a friend (not a close friend, but a friend nevertheless) At any rate, both she and her daughter belonged to the Baha'i Faith. I know NOTHING about this religion....I don't know what they believe, what their practices are, etc. I don't know if they believe in the same God that I do. I want to send a Sympathy card, but want to send one that is appropriate and will not offend her daughter (religion-wise) Also, is it inappropriate to send flowers? Can anyone help me with this? If you know anything about this faith I would be very interested to learn a few things about it. Thanks

At many Christian funerals it is often said that the deceased is in Heaven. How do we know this? Should we be so sure?

(Isaiah 19:24) 24 In that day Israel will come to be the third with Egypt and with As·syr´i·a, namely, a blessing in the midst of the earth,

(Ezekiel 5:2) 2 A third you will burn in the very fire in the midst of the city as soon as the days of the siege have come to the full. And you must take another third. You will strike [it] with the sword all around her, and the [last] third you will scatter to the wind, and I shall draw out a sword itself after them.

(Zechariah 13:8) 8 “And it must occur in all the land,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “[that] two parts in it are what will be cut off [and] expire; and as for the third [part], it will be left remaining in it.
Didn't God use this as to mean a few before and not a literal number? Isn't most of Rev. in signs and symbols?

This bothers me at times because I sometimes wonder if I've gone too far? The Bible speaks of an "unpardonable sin." That is sinning against the Holy Ghost and it won't be forgiven. That's pretty scary. How do you know if you've crossed that line? I remember reading about King Saul and how he crossed the line with God to the point where God no longer walked with Saul. Instead Saul was left with a troubling or evil spirit instead of God's spirit. This question is targeted at those who believe. If you don't believe please just let it go. I've no time for ignorance. I'm in search of serious answers. Thanks.

time and time again I have reported people that are unkind, and rude, and nasty, and puts down others. Yesterday I asked a question - "instead of pointing fingers at the homosexual, we need to look within ourself to see what is offensive." I was not pointing fingers anyone, if anything I was pointing fingers back at me as well. Why was this question deleted. I have no response. interesting huh? My Jesus can be insulted over and over, and I know people report that, and those questions are never deleted. I am not mad really , just curious. Probably someone did not like me standing up for the homosexual
