I don't deny that the first human beings may have only been 2 of them or more, who knows but if there were 2 to begin with how can anyone prove their names were Adam and Eve when no one was around at the time?. I mean I wouldn't know for the life of me who the names of my ancestors from the 1500's, so how can you be sure these 2 people were Adam and Eve?, how do you know it wasn't Tom and Sue or John and Sarah?, who knows?

Eh. Take it a step further. Why would they have names at all? There would be no need to differentiate between the two if there were only two of them, and each knew that they were one of the two.

If there is no God send me an answer to this, why is there such a fuss about Isreal and the Jews?? It has been said that if the whole middleeast was two football fields and you place Isreal in the middle of them their country would be represented by a quarter, thats a 25 cent piece by the way, If there is no God why all the fuss, why do the Jews wanted it, why do the chistians love it, why do the muslims kill for it, Now 95% of the world believe in some kind of God, so there all wrong and your right,..... Send me the answer to my Question??????????

It would have been better accepted today if there names were Adam and Steve ....it seems.
But seriously , why not believe it ? There is soo much evidence around us to prove the other things of the Bible, so why not Adam and eve..
The story of Noahs ark is true and it is proven, and it actually sits in the mountains of Turkey somewhere and it was to the exact measurements that God had given to Noah....and that is found in any Bible...Apparently it was found some fifty years ago and the gouvernment of Turkey has sealed off the area, making it inaccessible, or else they would have to make it known to the world that the Bible and Jesus are true, and i don't think a predominantly muslim country would want that.......................................Do you ?

Do some research. The hebrew for Hebrew: אָדָם‎, Adam, "man"; and for Eve, חַוָּה‎, "living one"; It may not denote one person...or an actual name.

In the Sibylline Oracles, the name Adam is explained as a notaricon composed of the initials of the four directions; anatole (east), dusis (west), arktos (north), and mesembria (south). The Jews had their own acrostic interpretation of the name Adam. In the 2nd century, Rabbi Yohanan used the Greek technique of notarichon to explain the name אָדָם as the initials of the words afer, dam, and marah, being dust, blood, and gall.

Adam and Eve were not human beings. They were an order of beings called The Material Sons and Daughters, an order of DESCENDING Sons of God who go to the inhabited worlds to establish the violet race and infuse the human gene pool with their superior DNA. These Sons and Daughters, although not human beings, are material, sex-reproducing creatures. When sent to the evolutionary worlds, they're called Adam and Eve. Our Adam and Eve arrived on Earth almost 38,000 years ago.

For more about this fascinating couple, I highly recommend the book Adam and Eve - A Tragic Love Story. This is a serious and scholarly work and I think you'd enjoy it.

The Book of Genesis is divided into several sections, they are divided by the genealogy verses.

The first such one is after creation, and the only One who can tell us about that is God Himself. The next section is by Adam, and that is what He calls himself. The next section is by one of Adam's descendants and called him Adam (Adam was still alive then).

Those names were given as generic names by the Hebrews. "Adam" has the base meaning of "man". So, with a little digging we find that "Adam" and "Eve" actually boil down to, man and woman.

These are the names that the Creator Jehovah gave the first couple.
Adam means from the ground
Eve means mother of all creation
