So all those monotheistic tribal wars against polytheistic baby slaughtering/child prostituting tribes was a bad thing...because its better to allow pagan human sacrifice to flourish. Yeah, before Israel, the Jews and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob there was so much beautiful love and peace in the world and no atheist, heathen or pagan faction has ever perpetuated a cruelty against another living soul. The Romans were really sweet people, so were the Medes and the Persians, the Greeks, all the "goth" empires were peachy and oh yeah, lets not forget about the central and south American native tribes and all their lovely and terrific benevolence toward mankind. Just think, if there were no Christianity...we could go back to those ancient times and pass our infants through the arms of Molech or trade your little child for a pig so you could use the entrails to worship while the child goes into temple prostitution and is raped in rituals. Yeah...that's so much better than..."Love one another..thou shalt not kill...and
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
You really should study more on world history and ancient religions and cultures...the only thing profound about you is your obvious ignorance.

Man all I can say to that is you had better be right, because if my Jesus is right you are going to a place so bad we won't even go there, Let me tell you about my Jesus, He died on a cross for you, He shed his blood for you, Did you see the movie Passion of the Christ, thats about how it went because our history books tell how romans crucified people, Jesus does love you and wants you to be saved, he wouldn't not have suffered and died if there was any other way but in the book of Hebrews it says the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins and it also says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, so John 3:16 comes in, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who soever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.. When Jesus died on that cross and then arose from the dead he washed away our sins, for he was a perfect sacrifice for us, now we must be born again to enter into Heaven, we do this by asking Jesus into our hearts, here is a simple sinners prayer, if you believe in Jesus say this prayer, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am a sinner in need of salvation, I believe you died on a cross and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this with a sincere heart you are now born again and a child of the King. Believe it, find a Church and read your Bible. If you have any questions send me an email, God Bless YOU!

Wow you really show how ignorant and uneducated you really are. I will not waste my words to correct your false information as you would be like the child in the corner with his hands over his ears saying "I can't hear you la, la, la, la, laa!!" Peace be with you and I hope you do find truth before the end.

Given that there are entities which can convince humans that they are God, I choose to ignore the OT in its entirety. Also there are religions who say that when all prophecies were fulfilled with the birth of Christ, the OT passed away, and is no longer of any use.
With the birth of Christ, we were told that there is only one Commandment which we must follow. It is the most important one of all. It goes as follows: To love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
This tells me that I must love me. I must also love others. Unconditional Love is the most important thing Christ came here to teach.....Didn't you know this???
I don't expect you to agree, just to hear me out. Thank you.
may Peace be with you
