What do you believe happens to us after we die? Do you think that we go to either heaven or hell and stay there forever, or do you think we are reborn, or do you think something else?

I believe we go somewhere, then when the final judgment comes, we get a body suitable for where we will spend eternity.
I am basing this on what I have studied in the Bible. To list all of the scripture would take up too much room. But I suggest you read the story of the rich man and Lazarus. It is in Luke 16:20, in the Bible.
If you like, E mail me and I will explain in more detail.

The scripture speaks of eternal life and eternal damnation. I would think then that where ever your final destination that is where you will spend eternity. There will not be another thousand years to get it right. Earth is our proving ground., and God is not going to allow sin up in His heaven or a mind stayed on sin. The body goes back to the dust but the spirit goes to God who gave it. Now is the time to get it right.

I have no evidence of an afterlife, so I don't believe in one. I believe that when you die, you die. And it will be as it was before you were born. Time will not exist for you, nor will your consciousness, or anything. You will literally cease to be.
I do, however, believe that consciousness may be a wave-form pattern, and thus could re-emerge somewhere else in the universe with the exact right genetic conditions, and it will be possible for your awareness to re-awaken with no knowledge of your previous life, because it wouldn't really be your previous life. You'd be someone else. This could be on this earth, somewhere else in the universe, a parallel universe (as per string theory) or anything. While I'm not stating this is a definite, but it is a possibility that may eventually be prove-able or disprove-able by science.

Nothing happens. Our brains are just like computers. if the motherboard dies, the memory of the hard drive still exists and is still able to work if you plug it in a different computer. if the hard drive is dead, the memory is still there, its just broken, which relates to braindead situations. if nobody fixes it, it stays there forever.
unlike computeres, our bodys break down and its elements are returned back to nature, thus dystroying the memory of the human or animal. if the brain is preserved, its memory will still exist. during that short time of decomposition, the mind will lose its data, and will be lost forever.

Joh 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

1Th 4:13,14 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Based on these verses I believe All are sleeping until the resurrection, ...

When you die you are dead and that's the end of your conscious mind. It can't be any worse than sleeping and you've been not alive for billions of years before you were born, so you have lots of practice.
