As for being good for colds... I'd like to smear a lil vegemite on your cheeks, darlin! It can't be bad for you ..... but it surely can be naughty!

I like my Vegemite lightly scraped on buttered English muffins or bagels with an occasional slice of cheese. I've never tried it on bran muffins but the combination of salty sweet might actually be good. Good for colds? I doubt it, but it'll help your digestive system!

bran muffins are pretty good, but I've never tried vegemite. Plus, I'm a plain kinda girl

Vegemite's vile. I prefer peanut butter.
Chicken soup's good for a cold, just don't put it on a bran muffin.

If Vegemite helped colds, poor Jack would not still be so sick.
Breaking community rule by chatting: Jack, my sweet son, have you trying chicken soup made with the hands of of a woman who loves you with every beat of her heart? I thought not. I hope Jack gets over this affliction soon. Yes, I know he is a vegetarian, but there are substitutes that taste vaguely like chicken.

You have to rub the Vegemite on your chest just like you would Vapor Rub!
Bran muffins are super absorbent. Work well for a runny nose.
