I was reading the Bible for any material I can use for an anime story I'm writing and I ran across something about Seven Seals in the Book of Revelations. Unfortunately I forgot what happened when each seal was broken and I don't have a Bible anywhere near me.

Can anyone give me a brief, simple, summarization of what happened after each seal was broken?

I DON'T WANT INTERPRETATIONS NOR DO I WANT RUDE UNNECCESSARY COMMENTS. I AM MERELY ASKING FOR A SIMPLE LITERARY SUMMARY.

I think that justice is just self-righteous vengeance. The only righteous way to handle a crime is to attempt to teach the criminal to not do bad stuff, so he and everyone else can be happier.

For example, I have heard people say that Christians who accept evolution or don't have a problem with premarital sex aren't really Christians, as well as people maintaining that Catholics who are okay with birth control aren't really Catholics. Why is this? Just because you don't agree with ALL of the general beliefs of a religion or belief system you can't identify with that religion or belief system? Sounds silly to me.

Let me give an example. I live in the USA, and I identify with one of the two major political parties here in my country. I won't say which one, because this isn't the politics forum and I don't want to get sidetracked. Nonetheless, I identify with one of the parties; however, I do not agree with all of the general beliefs of that party. But I still call myself a member of that party. Not all Republicans are pro-choice, but those Republicans still call themselves so because their overall beliefs reflect that of a Republican.

I live in the bible belt. Everywhere you turn you see new churches being built. Is this truly the way to show god you love him? In ACTS it says god isn't in any temple created by man's hands. Can anyone explain the need for multi-million dollar churches?

I have met a lot of people who are mad at God because of something they think God did to them unfairly and without cause.

That is never the case. God does not hurt people because it gives them pleasure. He does not abuse His creation.

There is no proof that there is a heaven/hell, but there is also no proof that there isn't. But how do we know what happens when we die? What would make us different from any other creature on earth? I mean..what happens to bugs, or dogs, or birds when they die? If there is life on other planets, what happens to them? Do they even die? Do only humans go to Heaven/Hell? How do we know that the bible is true if it was written by man? Personally, I do believe in God, but sometimes I just wonder how anyone can be so SURE about where we go after our time on Earth....

The bible said that Jesus would return after 2000 years. How come he hasn't returned?
It sees like when I ask a priest these questions they try to avoid answering them. I hate to ask these kinds of questions but the church never wants to answer them.

Presuming that man was created in God's image, does this extend to being given the ability to create on our own? This quesiton came up in my very first answer with this nickname. I have my own opinion on this matter, but I am interested in other opinions too.

The holy appearance day of Sri Krishna the Supre Personality of God head (Also known as Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc.) is coming up. Are any of you celebrating it on the weekend or on His actual appearance date or both? What are your plans? I know the International Socieity for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temples are having wonderful celebrations. IE: free Vegetarian love feasts and lots of dancing and music. if somebody tells you that something works - and in reality it does not..then that is a big lie! but if something was spoken out of truthfulness..u don't have to believe it becos somebody told u so..but u must test it and prove it to urself...
