Presuming that man was created in God's image, does this extend to being given the ability to create on our own? This quesiton came up in my very first answer with this nickname. I have my own opinion on this matter, but I am interested in other opinions too.

I am limiting this to the presumption of creation for convenience sake. If you're going to answer that man was not created, please don't waste your time by answering.

The energy of creation and creativity is not only something we have but is also an very vital part of our physical and spiritual bodies. We create new life, we create and express through art, music, science. God gave us this energy as a gift in order to experience on a smaller level the same joy that he experiences.

No, we were given intelligence, at least some were, we learned to create.

Btw, not all that is created is a good thing, i.e., the Atomic bomb, missiles, other nuclear weapons, etc.

Men make things all the time. Yet, they create things using things that already exist.

Only God can create something out of nothing.

Of course we share in GODs ability to create.
We are stewards of His Creation also.
GOD gave us intelligence to solve the problems we cause.
