From what I have looked into myself, this date marks the end of a cycle or age. With the emergence of the next age, will come something very wonderous or something far more sinister than anything we have ever seen before. Some people have stated that this date will mark the time we (solar system) will run through the center of the galaxy. This is supposed to be the second or third time that we have done this in relative human history. Everytime this has happened something very catastrophic has happened. Massive world deaths, floods, storms and so on; just the basic near-apocalypse.

Where are the Mayans today?????
The end has been predicted SOOOOOOOOOO many times. It's just doomsday crap.
Jesus tells us to live like you don't know when He's coming back.
I have a bunch of friends that just freak out on the Mayans predictions, 3/4 of them never came true. How about this.....It was prophesied over THREE HUNDRED TIMES, and come to pass, that Jesus would be born, live, die, and rise. Why not trust the TRUE PROPHETS!

He probably laughs.
My bible says that no one knows the time nor day that Christ will return.
I'm well aware of the Mayan calendar that ended in the year 2012, I'm assuming that is what you are thinking about? If not, my apologies.

Is that the Mayan Day of Destruction? I'm sure it will come and go just like every other absurd prophecy about the end of the world. Regardless of religion or culture, it's nonsense.

Not many people have read the Gaia Project 2012, and of the ones who have (myself included) there is a lot to that left to be explained in more detail.

No-one knows when the end of the world will be except God, the fact that some myans believed this day to be it, shows me that it definately is not :)
